I know this isn't the "random question thread" but I know some of you guys fish in XI.... any ideas on how to get from 8 to 28? I need to unlock inside the belly, so I can dump gil on matsyas >_<

honestly, it's been a long long time since I leveled fishing... I got to 100 back when I was playing on PS2 and that was... 5 or 6 years ago.

I remember going to west ron and fishing in the knight well, then going to jugner forest and fishing in the lake there.

I don't know what the fastest way people take now though. I just assume everyone levels fishing up in that place after whitegate.. can't remember the name. You take a boat there~ nashmire or w/e

Fish nebs on the ferry or in SSG. That will take you to 26ish?

It took me 3 runs to get 5 pop items for that trial. The drop rate is sooo bad.
