I was winning in theory, and vyre focused on sacrificing as many pieces as possible on kamikaze missions until I made a mistake which I did with my rook.
it wasn't just taking one for the team, it was a complete slaughter hoping I'd make a mistake that's why I said I didn't like his strategy eik.
In a way, that's kind of how Grant won the Civil War. I can understand why you'd be annoyed, but desperation moves do sometimes work I guess. *shrug* Rematch him sometime then :P
beats me. I pretty much never read mangas. In fact I've only read some chapters of one (final arc in bleach.. kinda just want to see how it ends since the anime is over and won't air this stuff)

Can you imagine just sending 100% of your troops into battle as cannon fodder and wait for the enemy to make a mistake? I don't know you're country's history, mentioning him but eeeeeeep
He basically had no major strategy except to "zerg" the South, for lack of a better term. The North just had so many more troops. At least that's if my memory isn't completely borked on this subject.
It wasn't really Grant's strategy, he was just the General put in charge of it. The North basically said, "Here's 200,000 or so troops. Smash the South. If it doesn't work, the blood's on your hands."
Of course, it worked in the end becausse the South was vastly our resourced and outnumbered.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
