NPCs. Probably weapon/armour/item shop clerks for the first village next, then people for the inn, then the random NPCs for around the village.

Trying to get enough resources done that I can release a demo.

Yea, I told you it would make the game too easy. :(

If you like that sort of thing that is fine, but I'd recommend you stick with a normal sword and shield unless you really need the power to move on.

That's just my preference though *shrug*

Well I dropped down on his head once and did like 1/3 his health. So I figured I could kill him before he killed me...

Not sure, this was years ago when I saw it. Sure things are leaps and bounds on stuff but so much more work.
I wouldn't mind just being able to alter up the original Final Fantasy game with some stuff.
