English is a fairly young language who's stolen pretty much everything from latin, german, nordic..
Yep, but we don't get taught this in England. We have to figure these things out for ourselves when learning other languages and I only know French. Considering that nearly 3/4 of English is the same in French it seems we pinched a fair bunch of words too!
I wish I had continued to learn French instead of switching to Spanish halfway through school. Although my Spanish allows me to communicate with Italians on a very basic level too, the words don't seem to be that far apart.

I can have entire conversations with my Spanish friend by speaking in Italian, and we both understand each other.
Oh, there was also a way to run from them so you only fought one at a time. Made it a lot easier but it was pretty hard to get that right. I tried three or four times and then just decided to take them all at once. That was infinitely harder than Penance, once you had the strategy to beat him down he was disappointingly easy.
You know it's christmas when home alone is on TV. He must have the most irresponsible parents to continually leave him home alone 'accidentally on purpose'... :<
Funny thing is the sisters were also the first dark aeons I stumbled on(I didn't even know I had the international version, had no idea I could meet dark aeons). I was like oh wtf happened to them? Oh you wanna fight? Ok, cool. *ragequit few moments later*

The exact same thing happened to me lol, there I was minding my own business going back to the Thunder temple so I could get the item for Anima...
I was curious as to when some of the languages started, this is what I found.
Old English - 650 BC
Middle English - 1066 AD
Early Modern English - 1470 AD
Old French - 842 AD
Italian - 960 AD
Russian - 1000 AD
Egyptian - 2700 BC
Greek - 1400 BC
Old Chinese - 1200 BC
Japanese - 711 AC
Makes me chuckle because what most people think is old English is actually middle and the dialects spoken during the transition from middle to modern english
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
