edit: Even in a dom/sub relationship there is a mutual respect/trust, and those typically come with rules/guidelines.

I'm sure there are SOME really timid people who just want a mother or father figure in their lives Jos, but I'd say that's the vast minority. In most cases of a guy or girl just wanting "to be taken", I would think that is a mere sexual fantasy reference.

Well there is more to it. The man is incomplete without the good woman. I was describing the male POV due to the circumstance given and being asked if I was serious. I believe that in a relationship, a healthy one, both push and pull the other in balance, sort of like the YingYang. Men and women are not the same and when it comes down to it, are stronger and weaker in their own different aspects. And to be perfectly honest, the woman is the stronger one over all. I am not trying to appease the females in this thread atm, just admitting how I believe.

My mother is a strong woman and raised her kids well enough. By strong I mean smart, independent, brace, and proud. She of course would be appalled to hear me speak so frankly about how you can treat a woman, but of course, I will shut up about this all to appease the masses.

I like to believe I respect the majority of women in practice, but not usually with my words to those around me. /shrug I am pretty sure at this point no one would believe me about me being respectful but ok.

That was more of what I was getting at then the typical wife beatin, down talking, arrogant, thoughtless, disrespectful, abusive men. That I do not condone. I did say tame her heart and her mind, or mind and heart, whichever, but not physically tame/beat her. Nor abuse mentally. Thats some really *** up ***I have seen happen to cousins and aunts and it sucks >_<

Tame... Tame. This word. It implies almost an ownership though. To tame a person, to make them "less savage". It all comes back to superiority/inferiority. It's misogyny no matter how you slice it really, if you continue to use that word. Narshee, you should do some exploring by the leech area. There is a shield that you 'may' enjoy called the Eagle Shield. It is the lightest lowest requirement great shield in the game, only requiring 16 STR to use.

You'll find a ladder going down, where you'll then kill a blowdart guy. To the left is some crazy ugly dude you've fought before, and you walk down this concrete pillar to a body with the shield. It has very high stability and will help you early on in the game.
