And I understand that your hubby doesn't want to cut the cord with his whole family, that's the same excuse I used for years...

And also in his defense if he is anything like me he doesn't even hear the jabs until you do the replay later at home because he learned a long time ago to just ignore her.

And your natural reaction is to try and "be nice" to her but that is sign of weakness and she will exploit it to no end.

And as with all evil people, there is no hope for them. They can not be changed or fixed or made better or reasoned with or bargained with. They are emotional vampires and survive by extracting emotion from you and so the only way to deal with them is to shut them off completely or have them killed.

And if it sounds like you have to get evil to beat evil and then you become the evil and wonder how you got so evil and wonder how long it will be until someone has to get even eviler to defeat your evil....
