Office managers and receptionists mostly. I would be perfectly qualified for the job, except the "send us a picture" thing completely turns me off. I'm applying for a job, not a dating-with-bosses site.
I guess it could be worse--I got interviewed for a job a few months ago, and was told that they'd call me the same day for when to start. Apparently they just wanted hot Latina girls (I'm black), so they made up some BS excuse about how they no longer had spots left. In less than an hour.
(They still had those spots open for that job a week later, and another black woman spoke up about how she got fired on account of them "hiring the wrong person"...they meant to hire someone else. WTH?)

So I'm looking through office job listings on craigslist and... I'm trying to figure out why the hell would I need to attach a picture with my resume. This is an office job; you can have some old bitty doing it. Or what? Are old bittys not hot enough?
Is it a secreterial position? Everyone knows secretarys have to be hot. :O

I'd follow up on anything posted on Craigs List with the BBB before you actually apply... Had a friend get more than a few bogus offers as attempts to get persoanl information... not to say their aren't valid opportunities just quite a few scams on there as well...
Oh I know, I do google searches on the companies, because when I was still living in NY, I got a job as a receptionist at a locksmithing place, but it turned out that they were wanted by the FBI for fraud. Yes, the FBI. When I found that out, was happy to leave and was tempted to tip off their location.
Ideally, I'd like to stay home and work so that my kid is taken care of instead of having to deal with childcare. The stories about those places...*shudder*
Hm... Unplugged my tablet to plug in my new HD... Now I need to unplug something else to plug my tablet back in, but I have no idea which USB cable is what...

I agree with Nik, usually is not good. Couple weeks ago I got one, I flipped my ***. Took a lot to stay calm and tell her to just not talk to me and stay away.
