Reading the forums I guess I need to disable SLI mode on my card.

Getting 18 with shadows enabled, 23 with settings lowered.. only using 55% CPU. I should be getting atleast 40. time to tinker.
All my settings are at max, too btw. Might get even higher if I lowered them. :x

well i played it a bunch before, didnt mind how it was just could have used more friends :P would probably be blown away at it now xD I just wanna remake my cat into a male probably when 2.0 comes out since im told chuuuuu isnt really gender specific anyway :P

So far looking passed Greentear at the river FPS drops to 20

There aren't a lot of settings you can change atm. Most the settings have to do with shadows right now.

PS3 release is supposed to come at the same time as PC, no solid date is given but most people are guessing anywhere between March and June.

You can choose to limit it to 30 or 60 FPS, or leave it unlimited.

I would rather not spend 9 hours of the day camping 3 HNM waiting for them to spawn during the 75cap.

You will never get the nostalgia feeling back from when you first played XI.

Stop trying to make other games like it and move on.

Yes, they have made it so it will run better on lower pcs.

Bluntly, we have XI, they continue to expand on XI, if I wanted XI I'd play XI. The entire point of the FF series is each game reinvents itself. Look at X to X-2 for example, if they did make XI-2 you can expect that it would be nothing like XI aside from the world, infact they probably would have made it exactly the way they are making XIV.
