Why the switch from PS2 to 360?
lol, my bf wanted me to get an xbox so I did <.< I've talked him into being interested in ps3 though, I'd like to try it out. However, that xbox controller changed how I play games and a playstation one feels weird in my hands now.
PS3 is infinitely better just for the fact that you don't have to install a game to have your system not sound like atruck is idling in your living room... that and there are no 2 or 3 disc games...
Games wise there's very little difference anymore though...
I've found it pretty easy to interswitch the controllers...
I bought my 360 just to play some games online with friends because it seemed none of them owned a PS3 lol... still enjoy the PS3 much more...
I am torn on the PS3 vs 360 thing in a lot of ways, I own and love both but lately I have been buying more games on 360 for a few reasons.
For one, I like playing games on my 1080p display in 1080p and more often then not games on PS3 only support 720. It's not a huge difference most of the time but in some games like Forza I want the full glory.
Installing discs on 360 I think is a big advantage actually, because the 360 allows you to install the entire disc, and not just whatever sections that the game thinks you need to like on PS3. Load times are a big factor for me so I go with 360 for any game I know will be loading big maps and large areas.
Trophies are pretty dumb. Achievements and Gamerscore are better and I don't really know why since they are the same thing.
I will say that for almost every fighting game ever I prefer the PS3, as well as for JRPGS... not that there are any good JRPGs on the 360 anyway...
