I'd probably be doing the same if it ever was seriously cold cold cold in the Winter here. It only happens in spurts here.

I do the same. A/C in the summer windows open in the spring and fall and a portion of winter. I barely flip on the heat in the winter. I just bundle.

Cold room with blanket for warmth > warm room with no blanket. Cold room is nice if you get too hot with the blanket on but if you get too hot from the heated room there's not much you can do.

OMG it was 50 yesterday and I was like, "I should go have a fire at my parents house and have some beer!"

I could even run the heater in the hot tub and pool then swim after.
Would be epic!

We'd grill hotdogs over a fire at the cabin when we still had somewhat of a beach near the uh.. jetty? but the water in the lake rose a bit and kinda buried it >.> So no more of that lol. We'd sit and grill them after fishing at night and my mom would make us hot chocolate :O

I'm jealous, hardwood floors get pretty cold around here lol and if I kept the window open overnight in the winter, I'd be dead in 30 minutes lol

summer I'm totally with ya. window never shuts but fresh air is more the reason than anything

Well I have hardwood floors too but it doesn't bother me

My toes get numb and white in the winter. It's like they somehow don't have a drop of warm blood in them. So I wear socks and slippers all the time in the winter (except to bed, and even then I sometimes have to put vaseline on my feet and put socks over them to sleep in or else the skin just dries and cracks, it's disgusting.)

But summer, heck no! Barefoot forever!
