Well that much of that article is, in fact false. I used to work at a papa john's and I know many managers. The franchise papa john's at the very least, don't offer healthcare to regular instore workers, though they do for managers.

<_< I can't stand it cuz it's always undercooked, even when you tell them to cook it longer. It's almost impossible to pull it away as a slice, half of the crust stays connected to the rest of the pizza, and 1/2 the toppings on the half you have in your hand fall off too.

Maybe the ones where you live are different, but that's pretty much a universal experience of people around here.
Ours is delicious! People at yours must just do it wrong. :/

It's still not the best pizza available around here, though. And it's way more expensive than just about anything else.

This is by far the best, and it's a local-ish chain.

People mad because when it costs more to run a business you charge more?

Its costing them more for a BS reason. I shouldn't have to, as a consumer, pay for your fees for not offering your employees healthcare. That's asinine to me
While I agree that in this case, the guy just sounds like he's throwing a temper tantrum over it (he said it's costing them 15-20 cents per order... that's hardly a dent in their profit margin), Lu is still right. It's normal business practice to offset operating costs by passing them on to the consumer.

Döner kebab, literally "rotating kebab" in Turkish, is sliced lamb, beef or chicken, slowly roasted on a vertical rotating spit. Döner kebab is most popularly served in pita bread, as it is best known, with salad, but is also served in a dish with a salad and bread or French fries on the side, or used for Turkish pizzas called pide or "kebabpizza". Take-out döner kebab or shawarma restaurants are common in many parts of Europe. Döner kebab is popular in many European countries, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. In parts of Europe 'kebab' usually refers to döner kebab in pita. Australian Doner Kebabs are usually served in wraps which are toasted before eating. In Australia and the UK, kebabs (or döner meat and chips) are most popularly eaten after a night out, representing a large part of nightlife culture. As a result, many kebab shops (and vans) will do their main business in the hours around closing time for local pubs and clubs (usually from 10 pm to 4 am). The same applies for Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, Scandinavia and Italy. It is therefore not uncommon to find similar late-night kebab vending shops in holiday-clubbing destinations such as Ibiza and Thailand.

You can find kebab places all over here (at least in the immigrant-heavy areas) and some pizza places sell it too.
