I know I was only a kid, and kids are dumb, but still. This is why I hate catfish:

That's the legend about the lake I grew up on. Creeped me the heck out back then, and I'm still queasy with catfish now. /blush

if you have a higher level, yes. if it's your first one and you're getting it at level, no.

also for the 35 and 40 quests it's easier to have someone tag along to help because it's not an instance so you can't change jobs easily. for the first 45 quest you need like 3-4 people to help. the second one you can solo 2-3 of them, but the fourth is i a dungeon. the 50 one you need a full group pretty much

Just saw some lady crying/screaming frantically, so against my black instincts (as I could get blamed for something), I went to check it out.

Looks like her bf's pitbull was fighting her pit bull. Poor lady had to sit there and watch her dog get mauled to I'm assuming death. Her bf came and broke the dogs up, but all the damage I saw, I doubt that dog is going to make it (ear ripped off, multiple inch gashes in the legs, and saw it get rung by the neck back and forth, whole thing went on for like 10 minutes)

Good god. I'm sorry, but if anyone's dog did that to my dog, they'd be getting shot. Immediately. (The dog I mean, not the person.) That's just too sad. :-(

Was trying to help the best I could, but nothing. I wasn't gonna go try to force two pit bulls I've never met apart of course, but I tried standing up on the wall to their back yard, thought maybe if they saw a stranger they'd let go and come after me.

Didn't work. Then I just made various suggestions seeing if they had things like pepper spray in the house.

Pepper spray wouldn't have done much I don't think.. I mean we're talking about two animals trying to actively murder each other here.. I don't even feel pain when I'm in an average fist fight (adrenaline is rushing too hard, animals are no different, they too get an adrenaline rush) never mind the adrenaline I'd have if I felt my life was actually on the line..

Maybe a taser? <_< Dunno about that either though.. I'm just betting their muscles would stop working long enough to stop the fight and separate.. Tasers don't bother me though.. Not the greatest feeling in the world, but definitely wouldn't stop me if I was determined..

Not much you can do to stop two dogs unless you want to get injured yourself, sudden loud noises can scare them off but that's about it. Unless of course you are forced to kill the animal you can crush it and pop it's heart. Not a nice thought but always handy to know.

I don't really blame you for not wanting to get involved.. It sucks to sit there and watch that, but I'll be damned if I'm going to get mauled to stop it.. Well unless it was my pet, one of my dogs I loved more than almost anyone else in my life (wife, grandmother and brothers barely beating him)..

That doesn't mean I just valued my family so little, I just really, really loved that dog.. If I could have just cloned him all throughout my life, I would have.. I never woulda needed another pet or animal..

I still remember digging his gravey vividly.. I was so lazy back then, and I couldn't see anything because I was just crying, but I didn't give a ***, if I woulda died from digging his grave, then so be it, kick me in the hole and bury me with him.

When dogs are fighting they don't really care whats going on around them. You could be beating them or trying to pull them apart and they will still go for the other. We had 2 dogs that would get into fights every now and then but it got really bad one night so we put them to sleep.

You couldn't just seperate them or find a home for one of them instead? <_<;;;;;;;; Seems a little extreme..

Imagine if humans were that way.. "Bobby.. I told you to quit picking on your brother! I brought you into this world and I can take you out, literally.. You both want to be put down? No? Then start behaving!"

Nope. They went after my 3 year old niece. They were anti social dogs who had never been around kids or other people besides us. We had 7 of them at once while we were trying to find them homes so they formed a pack mentality and attacked anything they didn't know. We tried to separate or get them used to people but it never worked.

I'd rather put them to sleep than have them fight to the death or get their heads blown off by the neighbors.
