I'd rather the DLC be random fun stuff rather then story stuff tbh, can just pick what you want then and ignore the rest. Anything added story wise I'd feel I was missing out if I didn't get it.
I personally dislike DLC period. It's typically a shameless attempt to grub your money beyond the $60 you paid already for a finalized product. Some little things are fun or worth the additional content, but more often than not I see horrific practices of adding extra characters, costumes, even side quests/missions that aren't even remotely worth the price tag the publisher lists them for.
Perhaps it's the shameless and heinous antics of EA and Capcom that has turned me off to the concept of downloadable content, but I feel everything a game should have should already be on it; the rest can be left up to patches for the sake of streamlined playability and balance.
But as far as FFXIII-2 goes, I'll admit to being an angry old fart and stand by my belief that FF doesn't need, nor should it have or require extra garbage which SE seems to have no trouble panhandling out to the masses for extra money.
Plus, seeing main protagonists in Mass Effect armor is just... alienating to say the least. MFW:
We don't need any more fan service ~_~
