I used to be the same way. But, I look at it like this, now. Corned beef... eh. Sauerkraut... Okay, I could eat that any day of the week. Thousand Island dressing.... ew. Not even on salads. Swiss cheese... has its uses, but standalone isn't worth diddly.
Put them together and suddenly you have perfection. It's an unexplained phenomena, like black holes or Snooki (who also appears to be a black hole).
edit: Also, to anyone who reads this and know what I do with food, yes. I've already made a Ruben pizza. :P
