the quick leveling trick >.>
you get a rapid fire controller and rubber band it so that you continually walk into the swamp and fight the basilisk while you afk

I have not heard of this >_> I actually grinded until I kill it and survive it's enemy skill Beta, once I learned that it made the entire first disc a cakewalk.

I spent so much time on FF7 the first go. I thought I had to kill the Emerald Weapon (water one?) as well.

I think I spent 60 hours or so

I don't think I ever stole much in 7. I will give it a try if I get it running again. It kept freezing on me when battles started.
