»Today is the most gorgeous spring day in the history of ever. So we took the dogs out walking. A while back when I had them out walking, Dante ran up to a church sign and peed on it. ._. Then today he pooped in the middle of the road in front of cars and everyone. My son has no manners. >.>
But the best part of dog walking is when they come home all tuckered out and fall asleep for three or four hours. They are so stinkin' cute and snuggly when they are sleeping! Like hairy angels!
I never pick up after my dog because she takes a ***on the football field and I secretly hope that some idiot teenager (the arabs like to hang out there and I can't walk my dog then or she'll run off to them) will step in it or some stupid kid playing football (soccer for you weirdos) at night.
I almost always pick up after. I have a little fanny pack that clips onto my belt loops and holds a roll of doggie bags, so it's really convenient. (Looks right stupid, but it's really truly convenient!) I never really used to care, but now living in a complex with a shared courtyard for all dogs, it's really a pain to walk around and step in someone else's dog's poop. There's bins all over the place and signs everywhere that everyone must clean up after their pet, but a ton of people don't. It got really bad when it was wet in the fall but hadn't snowed yet, because they didn't rake up the leaves so all the poop blended in really well. I'd go out walking my two and step in someone else's dog's crap and have to come inside and wash my boots, and they would never dry in time so I'd have to wear wet boots out the next time. I'm pleasantly surprised that I didn't get a chill over having to wear wet boots out half the time.
The only time I don't clean up after is once when I didn't know I only had two doggie bags left and ran out in the middle of a walk. I just know how pissed off I get when I step in someone else's mess, so I don't want to make someone else step in my mess.
