Random Thought: Mortal Kombat song makes anything epic.

Yeah, they don't have much North American beer. It's not that bad if you go out, you just have to clubs on the nights where stuff is cheap. St. Patties day was awful. $9.50 Guinness and $8.50 shots of whiskey. I did get a free hat though!

Oddly enough, the only picture I have from St. Patties day is me in a sombrero humping my passed out friend

The only thing I did on St. Paddy's Day was play pokemon and watch anime =( I didn't want to deal with dumbass drivers so refused to go anywhere.

Oh god this is so annoying.
So I'm working on customising my Aile Strike Gundam model. I've decided on what I want to do and it requires a redesign of the Striker Pack (flight pack thingy).
I decide to use the back thrusters from my Sinanju as the base from which to work on (making sure I build it in such a way that I can still use it on the Sinanju), but I find that the peg on the thrusters is too short to reach the polycap in the back of the Strike.
So I cut off a piece of the sprue, which is roughly the same width as the peg so with a bit of sanding it's perfect for extending it. I sand it into shape, I sand the end of the peg flat, and I glue them together.
I give it a good two hours to set because lolsuperglue and I try it out.
Fits perfectly. So I add the other pieces onto the thrusters and BAM.
Peg snapped.
Glue again, wait longer than previously, try again, SNAP.
Gonna have to melt it together somehow. :|

somehow, I understood all that :/
one thing I hate about models, is that some pieces snap, or wont assemble due to age... :/

When I was a wee little squirt, I had a cloth baseball cap. It was white with purple and blue flowers on it and it had a little jumper that went with it. One day I went to get my hat and it had a spider on it. So I left without my hat, and later, when the spider was gone, I threw that hat away because it had once betrayed me by having a spider.

I miss my hat. ;;
