You need to trust in the heart of the cards

I can't remember exactly how it played out but I had the full house before the river anyway. It was bad luck because noone would fold a full house 6s over kings in that situation. He was too invested to fold so seemed to be trying to buy the pot and I misread that he had gotten lucky.

In hold 'em it's possible to use a dozen of the same card.
Hand 1 K6
Hand 2 66
River 256 KK
Player 2 winning with three 6s but loses as the last 2 river cards are both Kings
Player 1 has KKK66
Player 2 has 666KK In your scenario, if K123 flopped trips on a straight draw board and didnt bully the player into folding, K123 either was playing low stack or is bad at poker.

I don't speak for Nynja, but the issues with DEI are loss of opportunity and systemic discrimination(the same kind it was meant to oppose). Some random who is sick of American fat chicks posting on their social media has every right to express that view. Nothing to do with DEI, just personal dislike.

But where is the human right to post on Rednote! This is missed opportunity too, if enough people oppose American posts and made Rednote ban them all or chase them off.
(I know Nynja probably don't use RedNote so they don't care enough, but still.)
has every right to express that view.
Right, some random has every right to ***on all white Americans because of some American's behavior. By the same logic I can say a DEI company has every right to hire whoever they want, and hiring certain race is their freedom.
Come on man....

That tweet doesn't even mention government policies. She's been arrested for being a piece of ***and spreading blatant misinformation in an attempt to rile up racist violence. And yes, that's a good thing. *** you and anyone else that defends this *** awful behaviour.
Guess what bombshell just dropped today over in the UK?
Well not really much of a bombshell because anyone whos not a zero IQ mentally challenged moron was already 100% certain of it, but it was confirmed right out of the idiots mouth.

Withholding information to prevent a mistrial would be a believable excuse if this piece of ***of a tyrant didnt spend the past 6 months talking about how that was misinformation and vilified everyone as a far-right bigot and sent them to prison for years over "hate speech".

By the same logic I can say a DEI company has every right to hire whoever they want, and hiring certain race is their freedom. The issue with this argument is that if you do that and choose to prefer whites, you'll get sued daily. If such behavior is allowed, you can't pick and choose which races can be preferred.

How does it work? There are plenty of companies run my Chinese or Indians in multicultural cities like Vancouver, and they only hire their own people because cultural preference.
How come they don't get sued daily? But preferring white got into trouble?

It's possible, and I've suspected it when I saw it too. But the content posted isn't too far away from many mainlander's pov on American social media posts. It's just being expressed in a more extreme way.
Most Chinese netizen with an experience in English social media usually agreed that TikTok refugees won't "fit in" in Rednote environment, the cultural difference is too huge. There are rumors of English posters got their account banned and they're asking why. And it doesn't only apply to American fat chicks showing some cleavage, it happened to male posters too.

How come they don't get sued daily? But preferring white got into trouble? my thoughts are that when you preferentially deny white individuals they are not likely to immediately think "they didn't pick me because I am white" even if everyone they met on the interview was non-white, but the opposite might be true of a minority individual where everyone they met on the interview was white.

How come they don't get sued daily? But preferring white got into trouble? The letter of the law (by Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in USA, Canadian Human Rights Act in Canada) prohibits any discrimination by race in hiring. Employment legally must be race-blind. However, selective enforcement targets only companies which have a preference for white candidates. Preference for any other race has largely been ignored in the courts.
Canada goes a step further and adds this section:
16 (1) It is not a discriminatory practice for a person to adopt or carry out a special program, plan or arrangement designed to prevent disadvantages that are likely to be suffered by, or to eliminate or reduce disadvantages that are suffered by, any group of individuals when those disadvantages would be based on or related to the prohibited grounds of discrimination, by improving opportunities respecting goods, services, facilities, accommodation or employment in relation to that group.
So, there is a legal basis for allowing preferential hiring of any race except whites, because arguments that whites experience disadvantage are unlikely to be taken seriously.

Because no one bats an eye at practices that negatively affect white people.
Its encouraged because “its a good thing giving opportunities to oppressed minorities held down by the system”

I dont have a problem with DEI based quotas, provided they are still filled based on merit.
If an IT company is hiring a PoC who doesnt know what linux is or never touched powershell, theres a massive problem.
Remember that LA fire dept chief who went on video saying something like “oh I cant carry your husband out of this fire? Well he shouldnt have been in this situation to begin with”. Absolute piss poor DEI hire.

We must promote the diversity, equity and inclusion in our society.
We are all brothers and sisters who were born from the same father, and should love each other, forgive and accept

So if you are in Vancouver with 54% visible "minorities", and walk into a Chinese owned travel agency, found every employee behind the counter are Chinese, you can't win if you sue them? (Note: this kind of all Chinese business for Chinese customers is extremely common in China town)
But if you go to another city like Halifax, which has 80% European population, and found a travel agency with all white employee behind the counter, you can sue them, despite overwhelming majority of population are white in that area?
How can this work, realistically? Because it doesn't seem to make sense.

Lol
Just a reminder that Vancouver was the city that went viral over hamas supporters (a known terror organization) chanting “death to Israel, death to Canada” with impunity. Globalism at work baby. If I went to your country and burned your flag chanting “death to X”, what would my fate be?

I got bored and decided to check on a random Asian owned financial service company based in Vancouver.
This company has 20-30 people with public profiles, all of the employees are Asians(either has an Asian name or has Asian face on their profile.)
Is that against the law that this company has no white nor black people? This kind of practice is obviously very common because human will inherently prefer to hire people with similar background.

Not really sure this is globalists fault lol. Afaik whether one supports Isreal or Palestine greatly depends on your personal background, preferred country of ally or moral choice. Picking any side in this case has nothing to do with globalism.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
