This is now a dog thread. Tell me how you get the dog in the third photo's ear fur to do that. Is it some kind of product? What are their names? Are they good dogs or bad dogs?

The westie in the back is Ada, and the lab puppy is Leon. Her fur is maybe just sleepy head hair. I normally cut her hair myself so it doesn't look like most westies I guess lol.

Leon is a bad boy, hes already ripped a lot of things apart. One time I went to plug something in and it exploded in my face and I was like wtf and its because he chewed the cable up. Still trying to get him to stop peeing in the house so he wears a pamper but hes getting better. He just finally learned to give me his paw and he knows how to sit, hes three months old

Ada is a good girl, very quiet and independent. They both like to look out the window, its funny to watch them look down and I wonder what they are thinking about seeing tiny dots moving. They both love attention and we get stopped every block from people wanting to pet them and Leon jumps on everyone so I have to tell them he jumps and they say "thats ok" but then they get surprised that he actually does it. Just the other day we saw julianne moore randomly in the neighborhood outside my bldg and she pet them and he jumped on her too.

Nice. I didn't like Elden Ring enough to consider doing a challenge run (I did SL1 DS3 run instead).
I surely miss talking about the new FromSoft game on here like we did when Bloodborne and DS3 were released.

Anyways, I was afraid my suggestion would sound a little bit tasteless (I remembered when my friend got engaged and he passed by my house to borrow a movie from me to watch it on his date night. The movie was Saw). Backreading the last few pages made me feel much better about my dumb joke.

I did about 5 playthroughs of Elden Ring.
First playthrough blind.
Second and third playthroughs to platinum.
Fourth playthrough at RL1, and I used summons if I felt I needed them, which was mostly the latter half of the game (Initially it was actually an attempt at a Horseless/Melinaless playthrough, so I couldn't summon at all, but Morgott's sealing spells eventually couldn't be circumvented in the way I wanted, so I had to relent and get the horse/strike the bargain).
Fifth playthrough was for pure fun involving an incantation(miracle) build. God, it was so dang fun. I cheesed the Black Blade Kindred gargoyle outside of Gurranq's church, for the Black Gargoyle sword with a really good FP move and Faith scaling. Then the spell types for Incantations are so vast and varied, there's a spell for every occasion!

A shame you didn't enjoy it. You're not alone though, some of my other friends did not enjoy Elden Ring. Most of them cite the open world aspect not meshing well with Souls game. I think it meshes perfectly myself, but I can understand the exhaustion since so many games are open world nowadays.

My favorite part about it was its NPCs. I love the way Fromsoft does characters, even if their quest progression is about as obfuscated as a rose by a riverbed under a willow tree on a foggy evening. Millicent, Blackguard Big Boggart, and Blaidd are gonna stick with my memory for a long time.

The more GT I watch the more themes I see they still ran with in Super.

The only thing making GT noncanon is the tail. Everything else is kinda retconned to Super.

I still havent begun super, even tho I kept up with most of it story wise. The art direction is horrid... i cant stand it. I hate how they changed Friezas voice actor, I dont like how dumb they made Goku or how "anime"esque it is. I know its a JP anime, but they really didnt do too much of that lame cutesy crap, now they do. GT was honestly good in terms of story if you ask me, it had very interesting themes but they kinda failed putting it all together. SSJ4 is a way better form than blue anyways, can tell most of the fans even prefer it because when SHF made figures of SSJ4 vegeta and goku they sold out instantly, but the blue forms nobody cared about.

Yep I remember that, the same Ki based attack frame was repeated -tons of time lol. I guess I excused it for GT because he was a kid for it, and I did like dragonball so I get where they were going with trying to replicate that feel for the first saga.

Goku being an idiot really worked well in DBZ Abridged. Him being an idiot in the actual show is not quite as endearing.

It is, however, more in line with how Goku is in the original JP. Localization really beefed up his lines and thoughts to be more like a traditional western hero, rather than the selfish eastern hero that he is.

The greatest example of this difference I can think of is when Goku spares Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga. In English he goes through this expository thing talking about Vegeta learning compassion and mercy and comparing him to Piccolo.

In the original Japanese? "Don't kill him, it'd be such a waste. I'd like to fight him again, someday. Fighting him was the greatest thrill of my life. I know it's not the right to let him live, but humor me. Forgive me."

Like, I mean, sure... dumb Goku in Super is way over played, but the character's original personality is much closer to DBZ Abridged which adds to the humor from it. This dunderhead that loves fighting, and can be talked into doing the right thing, most of the time.
