Oh yeah, Sookie is ENTIRELY useless...I like all of the "villains" though, my shivers get shivers when I think of the fairies...
And yes, the lovey dovey lame side of Eric made me giggle too...which in turn made me cry...he hasn't proven to me that he's back to normal yet though...he's got a bit of his wit back so far but he's still all love-struck and junk and that's just not great to me...but he better be back to being a badass next season! lol

When I was a lot younger I woulda jumped at the chance to watch any form of porn, soft or otherwise, but it doesn't appeal to me anymore, in fact it actually detracts from movies and tv shows for me. If I wanted porn, I'd watch porn, I hate it when shows and movies throw in sex just to throw in the sex. If it is actually needed for the story, fine, but I've yet to really see a movie or show where there had to be an actual sex scene or the entire thing just didn't make sense.
Anne Rice books have a similar effect on me, I've heard all about them, a major part of the appeal is the romance aspect, which doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, I don't see the point to reading a book where a large portion of it I'm just not going to enjoy when I could pick up another book that doesn't have that portion.. For the record, when I did read, Dean Koontz was one of my favorite authors.

@Slip I get it, I really do...I don't mind one or two sex scenes in a season but True Blood DEFINITELY goes overboard with it...yeah, I hope for naked-ish men but I could have that WITHOUT them boinking the chick that isn't as hot as I want her to be, though in True Blood, a big part of it is that vampire blood makes you uber horny for the vampire's who blood they drank, still overboard though, with all the season's we've watched...pretty sure we get it by now...and yeah...the mushy love stuff can be kind of a buzz-kill...especially when what I REALLY want to see is some extremely awesome fight type scenes.
Which brings me to Yomi: OH HELL YEAH! I'm very, VERY happy that Eric has had so many "whoosh and destroy" type scenes...though "off with their heads" is only #2 of the best two for me...I was very stoked about the ripping out of the moron's heart in the Moon Goddess Emporium in the episode prior to tonight's...it's my favorite "whoosh and destroy" scene...lol[/spolier]

so...uhh...what's the point I'm proving? That it takes a certain type of person to like the show. My wife is insistent I watch the show with her, but I've seen parts and I'm not at all interested.. I'm actually kinda curious if anyone can prove my theory wrong. I'm basically looking for someone who loves True Blood but has read, and hates Anne Rice novels.
EDIT: And she never shuts up about it, so I know a lot of what the show is about as well, not that I retained the knowledge, but everything I've heard nothing sounded remotely interesting. i've watched the first 2 seasons because a certain someone used it as leverage if you know what i mean. Parts of the story is interesting but it just feels like a porno trying desperately hard to be the next "friends"

Valefor was the best server, no excessive *** and only one well-hated resident idiot/asshat. Valefor was a tropical paradise compared to some of the drama and *** I've seen come from other servers.

Umm I'd call Shiva 'Asura-light' There are a lot of annoying people over there, but there are a lot of good people over there. If you do happen to go over there throw finger a tell and let him know that Flion sent you to him, and he'll be one of the best friends you could have by far.

im just thinking about it, i came to lakshmi to hang out with byrth and perhaps get things done, but byrth has kinda not been around very much, and blacklion has pretty much fallen off the planet and the ls im in hasnt done anything in a good month now. i like some of the people here, just i want to get things done.
