i need to quit randomly falling asleep after work

Harris, AND I love True Blood.. I like Anne Rice's books but there has ALWAYS seemed to be something lacking from them for me, ever since I was a kid. I still can't tell you what it is exactly but some part of the substance just isn't there for me. Well so far you're proving my point, anyone else?

EDIT: And she never shuts up about it, so I know a lot of what the show is about as well, not that I retained the knowledge, but everything I've heard nothing sounded remotely interesting. I guess I should add that I love Anne Rice books, though I have not read them all. I've TRIED to read the "True Blood" books but I honestly don't really dig Charlaine's writing. Also, I really don't like Sookie. Seriously, she's damn near useless. I really hate that. Anita > Sookie!

We have a kind of viewing party thing every Sunday after the kids are in bed for the night so that we can all watch the show...We've got 4 perma-watchers (myself, husband, and another couple) and 5 "occasional viewers" of the 9 of us, only us 4 permas are so addicted to it that we NEVER miss an episode. I've tried to get my sister to watch with me...but she's against "sex and violence" or something..I dunno...whatever flips her skirt up, I suppose.
