My husband and I adopted a new baby today. He's a two year old husky/lab mix. At the shelter they said he didn't know his name, so we could rename him whatever we want. We decided on Raiden. Here he is, plus an excellent shot of Pixel's backside >.> :

I'm kinda of sad for him, he's skittish. He's very sweet, but ducks his head or tries to run if you reach to pet his head. I take it his last owner beat up on him a bit, which pisses me off more than just a little. :/ But hopefully he learns soon that we will never hurt him, and hopefully he learns to trust us, and hopefully him and Pixel get along fantastically!

No, not really.. Any dog I got would have to spend most of it's time in my room.. I wouldn't just wanna leave it outside, and having it run around the whole house would be off limits, as it is now my grandparents keep their shih-tzu blocked up in like a 2x6 foot enclosure for like half of the day (He gets out for a few hours in the morning and the evening and gets let outside a couple of times to go to the bathroom in between I tried to fight them on it, but they aren't having it)

Anyways, would need a small dog, and my wife doesn't wanna let me get another small dog.

Oh, that's a good reason not to get one. Leaving them cooped up inside all the time is just sad. :-(

That sounds honorable, but I can see how it's misconstrued. On the internet, it's difficult to separate honest kindness with facetiousness. If anything, it's just calling attention to the guy, and you know trolls are just going to swarm to it like bears to honey.
