Ugh just another month and then I can finally stop being my brother's maid.. *counts the days*
Lemme guess... you're moving out, or he's moving out, or a maid is moving in, or you're waiting on some slow acting poison.
I'm moving out in september, but mom will be here during summer which means I don't have to be my brother's maid starting from june already!
I just have to ask, because you complain about this a lot. Did your mom always clean up after him? Did he ever have actual chores?
Pardon me a moment of stereotyping, but while I don't know what it's like *in Italy*, I know that almost to a person Italian-American mothers
dote on their male sons and do everything for them for their entire lives if they let them.
The term "mama's boy" was
created for Italian-American guys who can't let go. Nothing's ever as good as mom's, no one ever takes care of them like mom, etc.
Yeah that exists with others too and it's not exclusive, but it's sort of an expression of logic.
While you don't have to be Italian-American to be a doting mother, it certainly seems to be the case you have to be a doting mother if you're Italian-American.
