It's not on the forum rules.
And if there is, wouldn't LOL Pics be a thread against the rules? That's the point, images spam is relegated to where people expect it to find it.
Just saying cause in the past people were reprimanded for spam. I think it was an unspoken rule, hence why we have Lolpics?
Topic/Post spamming is against the rules, I don't know about .gif spamming.
Unless, that is, it's breaking the website. Then I don't know. If a mod comes here and tells us to cut it out, then yeah.
Otherwise, I don't think showing a few gifs or pics is against the rules. *whips Kojo out of slumber*  there was an issue not long ago, that people complained about Gif spamming, due to some user's browsers choking up, i believe a mod did say ease up on the gif usage, in consideration.

Seha is just bitter. Also that instance was because there was several very very large gifs on a page. We're talking like 20 megabyte gifs each.

You can avoid choking up a user's dinosaur PC with slow internet by using spoiler tags
 Lots of gifs, but we need more kawaii desu. If you have a dinosaur PC with dial up internet I don't recommend clicking this button~ Mmm. Delicious spam.
