I will eventually have at least 1 if not 2 mame cabinets, but full size, or at least a size to sit/stand at comfortably.
But after I actually have the room to keep them, so 5+ years down the road.
These days, I would keep an eye out around your area for repair services stores or even craig's list. You'll be surprised that once in awhile someone will just toss a machine where having a cabinet premade would be worth grabbing.
There's a few people I know that have a small arcade in their house. I did have my own years ago but that was when I was refurbishing and selling the machines back in 1990's.
If the cabinet is in good condition and isn't older like Space invaders but Jamma era, it's easy to convert that machine or even just throw a mame machine into it.
ED.~ Also if it's not a Nintendo cabinet, those are hard to convert but so worth building back to a dedicated machine.
