I have a droid bionic. I found an app that will let me do it over a wifi network, but it wont work with my phone being tethered to my tablet.

Just to c!arIfy. I have a car mount for my phone and it hooks Into my car audio. I want to use the tablets music on the phone since it's easier to see and has more music. I also want to still be able to use my phone as a hotspot for my tablet while doing this. Not sure how to do this other than buying a samsung phone.

does your phone/tablet have Bluetooth?
maybe you can use that, to stream the music while your phone is tethered?
as it stands, I really really doubt you can stream and stay tethered via WiFi only :/
