In general. Right now I mostly want it for 14 but I honestly just want a desktop again cause the more I am on this laptop the more I miss having a desktop that can... ya know actually do things.

While we're on the topic... Uri I've been wanting to ask you what you think is a good amount to spend on building a desktop. ._.; Depends on what all you need and what performance you want.
Some new items in the market have really lowered the cost of getting a decent performing machine for cheap.
Depends on if you need a new monitor(s), keyboard, mouse and if you plan to legally obtain your OS.
But 1000-1500 is usually a good target budget and that can be more or less depending on variables.
Expect $350-550 for MOBO/CPU
~$50 for ram
$100 for a case
$200-400 for a GPU
~$100 for a PSU
$100 for a HDD
Steal an old DVD drive form a computer or spend a whopping $20 on one.
Then you just need OS mouse keyboard and monitor if you buy your OS and replace those items.

Bingo.
Also WIN8 honestly isn't that bad from what I've seen of it.
Az has no issues running games and it's actually pretty convenient to use once you figure it out.
It's the same as every new OS.
It's actually nice people just hate change.

Being white with a hispanic look is always fun.
Was mowing the lawn and this woman pulls up saying
"How much you pay mow lawn? (I don't think he understood me.)"
I was like "I speak English"
She waws like "Oh how much do you pay a lawn?"
I was like "I live here. I don't mow for money"
She was silent and drove away.
Ok back to what was going on here before hand.

3930k? That's sooooo last gen! If I had infinite money when building pc's,sure I'd get one. But I've a budget to work on usually. And the most important thing is price/performance to a reasonable (re:my) degree.

I've come to the conclusion that for CPU's I wont bottle neck it by gaming anyways so I have no need to spend so much extra money on an Intel cpu and an extra 50-100 on an Intel board for the board to be out date in 5 months :/

It's kinda disheartening (and ego boosting at the same time though) to know that it'll never be capped really. At least anytime in the next few years at least. I got a good price on my 2600k when it was brand new (they were retailing for €379,I got it for €259) and here we are nearly 2 years later and I've yet to see it go over 50% load even once in gaming.
edit: I havent really looked into it,but arent some of the sandy chipsets compatible with the 3rd and 4th series too?

Buy an air conditioner instead of more PC parts or games
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
