Calculating time in space should be as light years instead of our actual count of time, it's easier for the brain to remember since the universe is so vast and large; I'll guesstimate the entire (incoming religion) first sky of seven is about 30-50k light years which translates to 30-50 million years old.
Billions is an exaduration imo, life on Earth would be so advanced that our brains would of developed far beyond matter lol.
But then again, time is the nothingness in dark matter that is space.
In enough time, the survival rate of every species drops to zero. there are countless millions of pitfalls, ways we can destroy ourselves or an anomoly from outside our planet can with or without our influence. All organic races encounter this hurdle and the odds of over coming it are astronomical, that's why we don't find other species. They've had their time and eventually all organic life is extinguished.
Will the human race be one of the mythological races that overcomes the organic pitfalls before its too late? Our history tells us not damn likely lol, we're doomed.
