I have to give a synopsis of Mahabharata (one chapter) tomorrow..... Quote from book that I'm reading it from: "Who widdeth not; and blamable that son Who, when his father dieth, guardeth not" The entire passage is that way... with "th" and "thou" and all that old English grammar. God I hate my life. I read it yesterday and I barely understood wtf was going on lol
That passage says "If you don't get married and have children and see that they also get married, you are doing it wrong and the goddess will not be pleased" The Mahabharata is a desperate failed attempt to find meaning in life and achieve immortality while laying out rules for the foundation of society. "I was talking to the goddess the other day and she told me a story about something else which I think means that in order to find salvation you have to do A through Z but not I when it's before E except after C and
always carry the two" Alot of it is stories about people who did it right/wrong and were blessed/cursed etc because of their decisions. It's kind of like the bible and the book of revalations, without the lion headed locust monsters.
