Old people. ._.

So, on one of the routes to get to work, there's a big stoplight. And coming from the direction we were coming from, there were three lanes-- one for turning left, one for going straight, and one for turning right. We were all set to go straight, so we pull up to the middle lane. You can't really see the stoplight very well til you get to it, because the road comes to it from a hill and a turn.

So we pop over the hill and around the turn and it's not til we're there that we see that in the left turn lane, a pair of ancient people have not pulled all the way up. Well, the middle lane is full several cars deep, and they are in the left lane, so they are going to have to turn left, right?

LOLNOPE

They decided that since they wanted in the middle lane, by golly, they were going to get in the middle lane. So when the light turned green they pulled up, pulled out into the intersection, and cut in front of the car in front of us, darn near side-swept them while they were at it, and darn near made us rear-end and side-swipe them because they had to both turn away to the sidewalk while quickly slowing down.

The cute thing about it was, had the old nuts just turned left like they were supposed to, they could have turned into a parking lot RIGHT THERE, clearly visible from the intersection, flipped a U-turn, and gone where they wanted to go.

tl;dr-- there comes an age when people need to stop driving.

Totally on board with you, Liels! That might be worse than seeing an elderly person going the wrong way on a one-way, assuming they're being predictable and not turning. :/

It's not just old people in general that are bad at driving... It's everybody... I see people going to wrong way down one way streets all the time here and acting like the other cars are in their way lol... good times...

Whats funny about driving though is that those driving never think they do anything wrong lol... it's always the other guys fault lol...

xD While I was busy whining about old drivers, my dog went outside and licked the grill grid. She leaned her head up against it to get that scorched flavor more fully, so now she has soot grid-lines on her face. Derp ._.

At least it was cold and she didn't try to lick a hot grill, I suppose. Kids these days!

also, that awkward feeling, when you are out farming, and clearing out some mobs...
spamming auto target, and shooting all the things...
...that you notice you are shooting at an Alliance member (flagged for PvP) and it tries to run and just falls dead to your random shooting spree...

i wouldn't mind a new game to play, but... something new. not xi or wow. maybe i wont be as bored when gtav comes out.

I heard Neverwinter was really fun. I should DL that.

met them years ago. to be honest none of them were that fun to play with. sure you get a few good minutes of excitement, but then it just makes the boredom that much worse.

It is in open beta yes so if you go to their site you can download and play.

It is actually a lot more fun than I was expecting. That the Foundry exists to allow players to create quests and dungeons means there should be a constant stream of stuff to do.
