That's why I said "Dog's came from hyenas if i'm not mistaken need to double check." So while your talking about them sharing them same line, aka being in the same suborder. I'm talking about direct ancestry make sense?

Screw the tact then. Your using a term incorrectly, and trying to say it's semantics when it really isn't. Learn proper bio taxonomy terms before you try to correct someone. If you can't use proper terms when having a discussion about biology its best to keep your mouth shut. You saying something shares the same lineage. Great *** woot. That doesn't explain what derives from what, or if felines or hyeneas came first...which is what I was talking about initially Ok sure also when you learn that dogs didn't evolve from hyenas we'll talk.

Fine I've tried to dismiss your argument, I've tried to get you to drop it, I tried to block you but really at the end of the day this will nag at me and sadly I enjoy some of your posts so I can't block you. I'll explain myself.
 I'm positive there are scientific terms for everything I have here but then using easy to understand terms when not writing a term paper isn't really that bad. Now when I say Cats share the same line I mean that they share a more common ancestor with hyenas than dogs do. Ok there are you happy now? Can we please drop this? The black circle is your point, the similar "line"/genetic lineage or common ancestor. My point was the orange circle was my question: " if i'm not mistaken need to double check." Like I said my original point/question was if hyenas were predecessors(when I say this I mean direct) of cats or dogs, which is why I said "oh they are their own category.
