Vyre, after seeing the whole thing, honest opinion. How was it?
I don't think the character interaction outside of The Dude and his friends was very real, but it didn't bother me too much. I thought it was alright, and it was pretty funny too. Would watch again.
Yeah, the other characters are larger than life. Honestly, I didn't fall in love with the movie the first time I watched it. The first time ever was when I was lazy and bored one Saturday afternoon and I kept my tv on Comedy Central. Of course, that version had the hilarious censored dubs like the classic: "This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps!" But yeah, I caught it again another time and I was hooked.

That being said, you gave it the ol' college try and you were honest with your response to it, and that's awesome.

I don't drink all the time any more, I don't smoke, no gambling... so my addiction is porn. Finally got a little bit of willpower back so maybe working out can become my new addiction and I can be one of those hulked out dudes... that would be awesome, but I hate working out.

My wife still thinks it is weird (mainly because it is always mfc, never have sound on, and I don't pay attention to it 90% of the time). But overall she has gotten used to it, and at least I don't have it on during company. Been having to close it while playing Hawkin recently because one of my video cards has been spazzing and I need to keep an eye on temps.

Makes you feel any better, I don't just watch girls pounding away at themselves or anything. Just the dancing/teasing stuff. Kinda like a strip club in my living room.

Well, that was '98. I was... 13? Yeah, I didn't care so much about actors or directors at that point in my life. I didn't even care about story. I liked to watch stuff go boom and whatnot. But, those days are behind me and I adore that flim, so I'm content with that.
