Just got done looking at a thread on this site about HD remakes of the FF series. So, i wanted to throw this little bee in your bonnet.

Many people want HD remakes. Well remember that game Halo: CE? Remember how Bungie split away from Microsoft over it and then 343 Studios, who loves being on the Microsoft ***, Decided to do a anniversery remake of a HD Halo: CE?

Well, i bought it and was expecting them to have improved the game engine some, get rid of some of the glitches (sorry but you should not be able to take down a hunter with a single pistol shot to the back) and maybe a good uplift of the graphics like they promised. Instead all i got was the same exact game, absolutely 0 added content (except terminals for extra back story all based on authors and not made by the original halo team), all with a paint job to make it "HD" that made the game look 10x worse than it ever did on the original xbox. I ended up playing the whole thing in retro mode just because it LOOKED better.

Moral of the story, beware what you wish for, you might get it and hate it.
