14 looks more beautiful than ever, but is that slowdown I see on the PS3 version?
Yeah its clearly lowered than 30fps (looks around 20 alot) and screen tearing for no vsync
I thought the game was supposed to become more compatible with ARR. Looks like it just becomes more power hungry.
Anyway, was reading about the PS4, stumbled across this! Probably been posted before but WOW. I am genuinely amazed by the graphics.

The game software is free, you just need an active/valid 14 key.

This is to prevent manipulation of the game economy, there's still the possibility to transfer to other "old" servers with 1.X characters. Just means I won't be able to play with anyone that played before I guess. Unless people are starting new characters, which I'm sure most of them aren't. I don't know it just kinda bummed me out a bit. I was under the impression that new players could pick any server as long as it isn't full, it's returning players that are limited. :<
I don't think I know anyone from here that played on Aegis ~~

You apparently had a char on my server (Sarg) though I don't think we played together in-game >_<. Mmmm only played there for a few months, when it was still Lindblum. Guess i could use that one as well, but my Aegis char has a lot more stuff and crafts ._.
Also i will always make fun of all the lolvaans and everything that looks like an elf :3 I think when you do the character remake you can chose whereever you want...
Should all come play with me unless you have commitments elsewhere :P I have no idea. Have some German friends that will be playing, but i really don't want to be dragged to some EU onry server :/
The only person i'd be sad leaving on Aegis would be Gradd, he's just such a sweet and helpful guy, but he's always busy in his 59739023 shells anyway.
Mhhh sure there's still some time to decide stuff, but muh lol

Thats from E3 back in may/june of last year. Showing off their new "luminous" engine as they call it.
The pc that ran that video had an Intel 3930,GTX680 and 32gb ram,considerably more powerful than the ps4 btw

I'm not sure to be honest, I never looked in to that, however we've already started recruitment for current players anyway.

If you start on 2.0,dont you get put on special "2.0 starter" servers and cant choose the original 1.0 servers? It's 1.0 players importing their characters that are limited. A new character being created can be made anywhere as long as it's not full.

I went and looked up the launch dates of the old Playstations... They all have about the same gap of time between them, about 6 years. In fact, seeing as the PS3 was released in 2006, the PS4 is technically late.
