I gotta say. After watching that gamepad video I don't completely hate the idea of trying to play it on my PS3 now. I still think I'd prefer it on the PC but that control scheme actually makes it seem like I'd find it at least bearable playing it with a controller.

... Damn it I think I'm talking myself into getting it at release...

This, FFXI I still use my num-pad for movement and my arrow keys for camera control. All the games I've played the involved using a mouse I ended up not liking and quitting pretty quickly...

I'm gonna get it for PS3, I don't see anything wrong with it tbh :( it may not look as good as the PC one in the end but that doesn't matter to me.

It does not, although I find targeting alot easier with one. You can always go with a gamepad as well.

I am in Chicago, they are saying we are going to bite the big on for two days here once the storm reaches me.

When you mentioned about snow in AZ, did you know the storm was heading your way?

Weather Channel mentioned snow that same day.
I've known about it since last week, but I didn't think it would be a meteorological event like this.

Just means I won't be able to play with anyone that played before I guess. Unless people are starting new characters, which I'm sure most of them aren't. I don't know it just kinda bummed me out a bit.

I'd rather play it on the PC so I don't have to use a controller. I never liked using a controller for most of the MMOs. That comment was more because I was originally gonna wait until I had a better PC to actually be able to run the game on before I bought it because I hate the idea of using a controller to play it. But that control scheme has changed my mind, I may get it on PS3 first.
