Nope. It's what you're familiar with. I'm right there with ya.
You forgot to add "Mmm hmm" at the end.

Even though I don't care for the remake look of FF VII on PC, there's times I would try to play the original FF VII on PS1/PS3 and the game does have it's boxy moments that does make it look unbearable.

FF VII, Y U so boxy?
Well, I'd tend to agree with some of that.

I'm very happy I'm playing Ocarina of Time on the ol' N64, but *** that controller. Seriously. That thing sucks.

I kinda miss the days without voice acting. I was more immersed in those games than the newer ones.
Wasn't it nice when you could name your characters?

I mean... I always kept the original character names, changing them was like a sin to me, but it was nice that it was an option...

I kept the names the same but I'd do different voices and accents in my head and jrpg dubs have been so incredibly horrible so far. I'd rather not have voice acting than voice acting that makes my ears bleed.

My only issue with it was the fact that it wasn't rubber-coated like the Playstation analog controllers were. OoT and Mario 64 would leave my thumb SO sore. I had no issues with the controls themselves, though. I was awesome at archery in OoT... Riding on Epona and sharpshooting stuff as I ran. And that archery mini-game to increase your arrow capacity. So much fun.

or just have pride in your japanese voice actors and include them as an option with subs for every game, at least then we'd have the option to pick what we want to hear.

Well with the PS4 coming out this year, I will say being able to view my friend's game as he's playing it in real time will be fun.

I just wished with Sony's Home program they could of made it do other things like zombie invasions just to make it fun. Instead, it's a bunch of people asking for text-sex.
inb4 my connection can't handle streaming.

lame-internet-limitations.

That's my problem. The joystick isn't nearly as sensitive as I'm used to. It jerks to a section when all I want it to do is glide slowly. Aiming the slingshot is the freakin' worst, too. It snaps to another side of the screen when all I'm doing is touching it lightly. Maybe that means it's too sensitive? I unno. It's annoying, though. Other than that (and the Z targeting... >.>), it's as epic as I always remember.

I forgot which game it was, but I remember people having sores on their hands from the N64 controller cause like a mario party game, you had to rotate that analog stick.

Try to play Goldeneye and try not to laugh at yourself. It takes a moment to realign the aiming scheme.
Wasn't it the "C" buttons to aim, or was it the shoulder buttons? Yeah, I'm guessing Goldeneye would be a pain to play. But man, those were good times back in the day.

Back in the day.

I don't remember the name of the control setup I used for that... It was the one where the analog stick aimed and the yellow arrows made you run. Much better than the default.

I don't remember mine ever doing that... Maybe your controller is worn out, or dirty inside... Something that makes it act funny?

You're making me miss my N64... I gave it to a friend forever ago when she was married to another friend, and she needed something to keep her entertained.
