Never really used medic ferals, Barely use medics outside of Raise, I just stick to enhanced potions~
the green choco is super nice to have, great medic + add itemfinder and gilfinder to it, early on has the cp bonus as well. but i do see what you mean, once you complete the game if you ever need a medic you are better off having serah and/or noel switch to it cuz your monster is capable of consistent great DPS.
Aye, every coloured chocobo eludes me though :(
you dont have the fragment skills?
Nope too lazy personally lol~
I should really get to it though, It's a really nice boost :x
I've just opened the strange gate on Acedamia, and it said not to go in there until you're ready to not come back, is this the end of the game? I guess I can't go anywhere else once I'm in there.
Are there any particular monsters I should be trying to look for? I've got a cloudburst level 15ish, a Behemoth at 20 something, and some random medic flan.
Is there a reason to close the gate on any of the places? Or it is just for amusement :/

Random flan medic...Flanitor! Good one.
Nah, thats not the end of the game, but you'll be stuck in an area for a little bit, so make sure you're ready first.
look at that guys chichu and cloudbursts builds his chichu has 1500+ str how exactly did you build your chichu? with potent or power? depending on that your dmg will differ probably have to stagger higher also the key to this fight is don't let eerie soundwave hit chichu

Ok, so im gonna have to beat Snow and Valfodr to get another Chichu ; ;
Alright cool.
Paradigms: (Serah - Noel - Monster)
Cerberus (N) ---------------------------- COM COM COM (Chichu)
Cerberus (N) ---------------------------- COM COM COM (Chichu)
Smart Bomb (N) ------------------------ SAB RAV RAV (Cloudburst)
Relentless Assault (N) ------------------ RAV RAV COM (Chichu)
Mystic Tower (N) ------------------------ RAV RAV SEN (Goblin Chieftain)
Solidarity (N) ---------------------------- COM MED SEN (Goblin Chieftain)
Hardly a strategy here other than build his chain using Ravagers and then Cerberus him to death. Few things to note though:
1. Once you're close to staggering him, say around 240%, use Goblin's Feral Link. That will give you all the necessary buffs except En-spells.
2. As soon as he staggers, use your debuffs. All three, Deprotect, Deshell & Imperil will stick in one turn.
3. Immediately after finishing your command for the debuffs, use Cloudburst's Feral Link which should give you those missing En-spells.
4. Then switch to Relentless assault for one turn. That should take his chain to around 650%, which is enough for Chichu to be hitting 90,000+, if his HP is high.
5. In your first Stagger, limit your damage to around 5 Million HP. You don't wanna get below that, or he'll use Enhance Power mode after he recovers. The limit could be at 4.5 Mil HP, as I tested him at 4.3 Mil, and he used Enhance Power. It should be either of those figures, but should only account for a difference of 5-7 seconds.
6. Now, after he recovers from first stagger, he'll be a little more aggressive but not crazy like the Enhance power mode. Use RAV RAV SEN more in this period to build his chain, and heal if needed in COM MED SEN.
7. Follow the same steps when you are about to stagger him, and go all out once he is staggered. This time, it is important that Chichu doesn't get hit with Pain.
You can do 6+ million damage in one stagger, so you are more than capable of finishing him off.
Other Comments:
Use Remedies, Painkillers & Wound Potions if needed, even though I didn't need any items in this battle except a Librascope.
Do make sure that all your monsters have their feral links charged before going into battle.
next thing is if chichu is built ok he should know adrenaline which gives him 20% more str while his hp is high 70> and he should inflict 90k+ dmg a hit around 650-700% stagger
The Build:
01) Auto-Enfrost (RL)
02) Critical: Faith (RL)
03) Magic +35% (7)
04) Quick Stagger (7)
05) Role Resonance (7)
06) Stagger Maintenance II (6)
07) Chain Bonus Boost II (6)
08) Siphon Boost II (6)
09) Attack: ATB Charge II (6)
10) Feral Speed II (6)
Monster Materials to use: All-Mana.
Crystarium Upgrades-----: +1 ATB.
Additional Abilities----: Teach him the full gamut of RAV spells - this includes Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Fira, Blizzara, Thundara, Firaga, Thundaga, and Fearsiphon. Then teach him Vigor by infusing 99 levels worth of COM monsters into him.
Gave Chichu Adrenaline and managed to beat Gilgamesh easily in 3 Staggers. Finished him off with Chichu's Meteorite. Didnt get him though.
EDIT: Seems it'll be a grindfest to get him, like it was with Lightning/Amodar/Omega ._.
0/3 with 90% drop rate (Fragment Skill + Feral Link killshot + base 20% drop rate)
Gilgamesh 1/4 :)
Working on building up my Chichu and Yakshini a bit, then going to try to tackle Snow.
i had to use my nanochu and chichu to give my valkyrie lightning pack mentality, but my chichu already had some infusion stats from an attempt at a build, so i had to do some god awful infusions to get valkyrie lightning with the stats i wanted.
then on my first level 70 valfodr kill, i got my chichu back, so now i am in the process of making the best chichu build, will have 1550+ str when finished, then i can attempt gilgamesh because i cant beat him, even with vakyrie lightning doing 150k attacks during stagger. once he goes into berserk mode, i just cant win and its a never ending battle of me using potions and phoenix downs, and trying to stay alive long enough to stagger him and hope its enough.
and snow isnt tough at all, got his crystal on 2nd kill. there is a good build for him out there, but i almost never use a sentinel, so he doesnt serve much purpose for me really.
After years of build-up and waiting, Final Fantasy XIII was released to so-so reviews. The game was a disappointment. But, if at first you don't succeed, try again.
Regardless of fan bickering or indifference, the game was a monster hit for Square Enix, moving over six million copies.
The game's developer, Square Enix, is working on Final Fantasy XIII-2, a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII.
The number of Final Fantasy games can be confusing for non-fans. Each of the games do not follow sequential order, so when Square Enix wants to do a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, the game does not end up being Final Fantasy XIV (which is a totally different, already released game), but Final Fantasy XIII-2.
There is a precedent for this as Square Enix released a sequel to Final Fantasy X in 2003 called Final Fantasy X-2. The sequel followed the exploits of Final Fantasy X heroine Yuna, and Final Fantasy XIII is expected to do the same.
Square Enix has only unveiled the game's logo, which showed Final Fantasy XIII heroine Lightning as well as a new, unnamed character. It is thought that this character is Lightning's rival.
Unlike Final Fantasy XIII, which caused controversy by originally only being slated for the PS3, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is penciled in for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360, right off the bat. The game won't have the wait that Final Fantasy XIII did. According to Square Enix, it will be released in 2011.
So... yeah... Wasn't a huge fan of XIII maybe they'll do this better? lol.
