what about everyone else? if lightning killed caius, what happens to noel, does his kill not count? didnt feel like an ending to the game, just a specific part of the game. was more of a wtf to me. I could think of more, but those are main key points to me.
E3 around this corner, and I would bet there will be some SE games announced there. ff13 1 and 2 were big profits in a struggling time for SE and 13-2 is a big reason their latest reports had shown profit and not loss. from a business point of view it would be smart for them to milk the 13 series and lightning 1 more time before moving on to 15 and the vs game.

from what i've been reading on in the game news world,
i'm pretty sure FF15 is going to get some kind of suprise teaser, ff14 is getting a huge e3 rerelease campaign, ffversus 13 is going to have official launch date hopefully and be playable @ e3, and KH3 will be officially announced.
these are my predictions from the SE booth. i can't wait for e3 this year D:
I didnt buy any of the extra stuff not story related cept the 1st lightning dlc. after i 100%'d the game and pimped all the monsters i liked out, i havnt been able to force myself to play the extra crap cuz i feel like its for nothing.
I'm not too happy with the latest dlc either, waited like 3-4 months after beating the game for just fights? I cant help but think they had the DLC all done on release and staggered them out leading up to E3.
I heard that if you use Serah as a SEN and provoke snow, he shuts the *** up and his energy resets~
edit: Or is it just 'cuz he changed target, hurr
This is true? If so, THANK YOU! Very helpful. I can probably beat him now xD I'd like Snow to replace my eyesore of a Bunkerbeast >.>
It works, just tested it earlier, although he's quite resistant to provoke.
Got him to 30% on my first try, he slammed me with sovereign fist in the end, I wasn't paying attention lol

I'll have to try it then. Working on getting PuPu atm.
Went 1/1 on Jihl Nabaat last night, was so psyched! I never have to do that god awful fight again! Was funny too, some friends were over watching, and im like "It'll be awesome if she drops!" *Nabaat drops* "YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!"
Never really used medic ferals, Barely use medics outside of Raise, I just stick to enhanced potions~
the green choco is super nice to have, great medic + add itemfinder and gilfinder to it, early on has the cp bonus as well. but i do see what you mean, once you complete the game if you ever need a medic you are better off having serah and/or noel switch to it cuz your monster is capable of consistent great DPS.

I'm aware, I'm just building a "DLC Dream Team" of sorts as a little goal. Trying to figure out how to make Ultros useful as well xD
But I am giving myself stuff to do in the game. So I'm building up all the DLC monsters I've gotten to the best they can get.
I got V.Lightning, Lightning, Amodar, Omega, Sazh, Ultros, PuPu, and Nabaat. Their crystariums are maxed, but I havent done their passive builds. This is my project I'm doing.
Your Mud frog should have the abilities as follow:
5 original abilities in red lock
HP+30% yellow
Magic: +35% yellow
Resist Elements: +30%
Resilience: +40%
Resist Magic: +36%
Step 3
1) PuPu ← Pulsework Soldier Lv40 x 2, Lv19 x 1 (HP+16%, Resist Physical: +15%, Curaja)*3
2) PuPu ← Green Chocobo Lv48 (Resist Physical: +36% yellow)
*3
Infuse any sentinel monsters with Lv99 in total to PuPu for the hidden ability 'Curaja', I chose Pulsework Soldier here because it's easy to capture. But you could use Major Moblin Lv29, Pulsework Knight Lv20, Navidon Lv40 instead.
Step 4:
1) PuPu ← Mud frog Lv19
You should have abilities as follow right now:
Original ability with red lock 1
Original ability with red lock 2
HP+30% in yellow lock
Magic: +35% in yellow lock
Resist Physical: +36% in yellow lock
Resist Elements: +30%
Resilience: +40%
Resist Magic: +36%
Improved Raise II
For the last space, I put Critical: Shield II (Swampmonk Lv39), but you could choose the abilities below instead:
Critical: Tetadefense: (Pulsework Gladiator Lv23)
Rapid Recovery: Microchu Lv24

So Faelar I've noticed you didn't mention Chichu in your dream team i really suggest you add him he is still a monstrous com to have on your side like Omega and V.Lightning and tbh his faith/bravery eater makes him my favorite com still and if built right he will constantly do 99999 dmg at 630% stagger bar.

Yeah I have him, just not leveled it yet. And i said DLC Dream Team, so DLC monsters onry :P
I have gotten at least 1 of almost every monster at some point.

Aye, every coloured chocobo eludes me though :(
you dont have the fragment skills?
I need to get Battlemania >.< I have Monster Collector/Rolling in CP. Those were the main 2 I was concerned with.
Etro is dead; time is still destroyed; Serah is still held captive by Yeul; Lightning is crystallized until her moment of awakening--whatever that may be.
A more relevant question is: what exactly do you think was answered? The DLC pretty much answered absolutely nothing, other than
It was pretty disappointing to be honest, and the battle with Caius was silly. I feel like I wasted my money. Paying $5 to fight a single boss monster in a video game is incredibly dumb. Paying to fight 12 bosses = the cost of an entire video game. I was hoping for some story.
i completely agree almost, cept I dont feel it was a waste of money. Yes, I wasnt all that happy with it but I personally loved the game so much I was happy with just more to do and bring me back to it, even just for a few more hours.
ty for bringing more unanswered questions to light lol. I'm sure there are still more.
@ Bismarck.Helel, now my question to you is this. Do you also believe a part 3 is otw? do you think it will be announced @ E3?
After years of build-up and waiting, Final Fantasy XIII was released to so-so reviews. The game was a disappointment. But, if at first you don't succeed, try again.
Regardless of fan bickering or indifference, the game was a monster hit for Square Enix, moving over six million copies.
The game's developer, Square Enix, is working on Final Fantasy XIII-2, a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII.
The number of Final Fantasy games can be confusing for non-fans. Each of the games do not follow sequential order, so when Square Enix wants to do a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, the game does not end up being Final Fantasy XIV (which is a totally different, already released game), but Final Fantasy XIII-2.
There is a precedent for this as Square Enix released a sequel to Final Fantasy X in 2003 called Final Fantasy X-2. The sequel followed the exploits of Final Fantasy X heroine Yuna, and Final Fantasy XIII is expected to do the same.
Square Enix has only unveiled the game's logo, which showed Final Fantasy XIII heroine Lightning as well as a new, unnamed character. It is thought that this character is Lightning's rival.
Unlike Final Fantasy XIII, which caused controversy by originally only being slated for the PS3, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is penciled in for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360, right off the bat. The game won't have the wait that Final Fantasy XIII did. According to Square Enix, it will be released in 2011.
So... yeah... Wasn't a huge fan of XIII maybe they'll do this better? lol.
