Problem is with Chichu is he sucks at attacking launched mobs and wide range attacks. Gotta love Omega for those advantanges and his 3x attack per gauge. But yeah Chichu topples with Omega.
Gotta admit the game is much better than i expected, i actually didn't want to buy the game but gave it a go. The demo was quite possibly the worst i played but after playing the game itself, everything just fits, story is simple, limited characters is awesome and Noel is just the best lol.
I do have one question tho about monster pets. What's the best 3 to us? Provided there is a best 3. Also about locking gates, is it bsaically just lock gate -> replay episode, beat boss -> open gate and thats that?
I prefer Goblin Chiefman with his Feral Link. Has about 7k HP without any monster infusions, and the fearl link skill grants Protect/Shell/Vigil/Viligence/Bravery to the party.

Hmm might have a comparison but Yakshini does near the same thing.
I wasn't sure if I should have started a new thread or posted here. But anyway, my main issue is that I'm trying to get the Lucky Coin Fragment from Serendipity. I heard you have to win a total of 7,777 coins from the slot machines. I have hit countlesss 999s but I still can't get this fragment. The guide I am using says you'll get a c/s after you hit this mark, but almost 30 jackpots later I still don't have it. I also heard that you don't have to do this in one sitting. Is this true? I just hope my copy of the game isn't bugged. =/

That is wrong. You get the fragment when you leave the Slot Machine. I got it when I did.

I got this fragment by getting 3 999's and getting the multiplier to 100x then i got one more 999 and 2 triple chocobos and the mini scene about the fragment happened.
Yes. In normal view of ur levels, highlight a level u wanna play, then u can hit ur RB button to temp close gates and to run through them from the start.
When I get the paradox scope can I use it on my current playthrough?
Or will I need to start over?
You can use it on your current playthrough. After you beat the game, your data is saved, but you return back to the point in the game before you beat it. The scope can only be used on certain fights, though.
almost any SYN can be made to be the best via infusion for traits and abilities and the right HP upgrade items.
you were right i infused yakshini into my purple choco and taught it faithga and more stuff got 2 mewmao got every enspell and shell love this choco lol

Overall I'd say purple chocobo is the best SYN but if you want a very specific SYN then at times it's worth having another monster that has limited abilities e.g. if you just want a quick bravery/faith rather than having to wait for a bunch of other buffs first.

I heard Caius in the Dying world with the paradox scope turned on is probably one of the hardest fights in the game, does it require an intense amount of grinding to win?
Or if I've already beaten the game I should be ok?

anything specific that you might want can easily be moved to another monster via infusion though. really the only important stat that will be unique to SYN monsters is HP, which isnt even that important once ur over 7k.
After years of build-up and waiting, Final Fantasy XIII was released to so-so reviews. The game was a disappointment. But, if at first you don't succeed, try again.
Regardless of fan bickering or indifference, the game was a monster hit for Square Enix, moving over six million copies.
The game's developer, Square Enix, is working on Final Fantasy XIII-2, a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII.
The number of Final Fantasy games can be confusing for non-fans. Each of the games do not follow sequential order, so when Square Enix wants to do a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, the game does not end up being Final Fantasy XIV (which is a totally different, already released game), but Final Fantasy XIII-2.
There is a precedent for this as Square Enix released a sequel to Final Fantasy X in 2003 called Final Fantasy X-2. The sequel followed the exploits of Final Fantasy X heroine Yuna, and Final Fantasy XIII is expected to do the same.
Square Enix has only unveiled the game's logo, which showed Final Fantasy XIII heroine Lightning as well as a new, unnamed character. It is thought that this character is Lightning's rival.
Unlike Final Fantasy XIII, which caused controversy by originally only being slated for the PS3, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is penciled in for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360, right off the bat. The game won't have the wait that Final Fantasy XIII did. According to Square Enix, it will be released in 2011.
So... yeah... Wasn't a huge fan of XIII maybe they'll do this better? lol.
