I got him to 83 so far. I went from about 350 Att to 540 Att in 4 levels. Early Bloomer is kicking in. I refuse to fight Caius until I have Odin by my side at 99. I'm gonna be OP as ***, as I already am, but it must be done. Odin has always been my favorite summon of FF.
just got red chocobo and normal chocobo to 99 today, used allot of power upgrades til the final stage then i used some power crystals and mostly potent crystals. the yellow chocobo got up to about 1500 attack and the red one got to almost 1800. this is with the 35% STR.
Ive seen a good # of COM mobs in action and I must say the most epic is watching a chocobo lean forward and go KWEH!! at a group of mobs and then them all fall over.
win 2 collectors items, you can do this all prolly within an hour or 2, once u get to the racing part, its easy as ***and fast. Later you will want to upgrade those items with the sales npc in Archylte Steppe - AFXXX. Anyways you will wanna set the weather to sunny or rain and goto the pond and just farm materials, the cp will be good and so will the gil.
if ur pretty far in the game, beaten it or not, I would also suggest checking my previous post on page 18.
I don't know if any of you have tried yet, but leveling Odin is a ***. I'm sticking through though, since he's allegedly the best Com in the game. I heard Omega is very, very bad. Especially compared to the Genji Bow. I still use the Genji Bow (upgraded one). That haste is ridiculously awesome.
Omega can be pretty pimped out if you get all the ATB draining/recovery stuff apparently. Haven't really messed with super maxing out though since there's nothing to kill that actually requires being that pimped out, lol. Also just don't really like using odin or cichu since neither of them can be redone.
well as far as kichu goes, just get ur crystals right and u can pretty much fix up the traits and moves how u please.
here is a nice little guide i found, shows easiest way to get the good traits as well as lists them, the passive ones and the class specific ones that you want. very useful.
The only problem with doing it "right" is the optimal crystal isn't what you'd always expect, there are certain areas where it's better to go with generic crystals and some areas where it's better to go with stat specific ones and the only way to know is to just reload and redo a lot. In the end it certainly doesn't make a huge difference but I just don't like the idea of only having that one chance to do it. And I'm just partial to the chocobos because everytime they pop up on screen my daughter would yell "Chicken!" lol
when you see fake lighting after Caius stabs you and sends you to happy land. i figured if i agreed to stay that would activate a earlier ending, BUT can i get back to that spot if i wanna view that ending? its in the void beyond i believe so i wasn't so sure... unless maybe i reset arcemedia (spelling) 4xx and go through the gate again, though idk if that'd do it... or... if i restart bohdum 700? (or whatever time it was... hell i can't think tonight)
Also did anyone kill a behemoth right when you got there?
I did and I spent like 7 phoenix downs and all I got was a behemoth fang key item. Which I assume is for some mission later on. But it was a fun fight.
I killed like 8 of them to get its crystal.
Delta Attack (COM RAV SEN) basically the whole battle, dies in about 3 minutes. It was way easier than the guide made it out to be (terribly challenging lol, not really)
As a monster its extremely powerful, but has a very slow attack speed. Its more for the "OMG I GOTZ A BEHEMOTH IN MAH GROUP!!!" exclamation when you put him in your Deck.

You start back at that timeline. Don't have to do any fights. You're put right before the Live Trigger choice for that one.
UGH wtf. I have every monster in my Bestiary with a checkmark. Wtf am I missing... I know I have run into every monster in this damn game D: And if I haven't, hot damn.

I'm gonna start doing that lol
do it. it really make the game better at times...just running along... POOF! mog pops up right next to you and you run into him.... instant rage noodles!!!! *Grabs mog and throws him into a npc* (npc gets hit in the face" "Hey its a moogle"
According to Final Fantasy Wikia Ultimate Prize winners of the Word to Your Moogle tour received a pink and white PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 featuring Mog.
I'm not going to lie, i'd trade my black PS3 for this np.

I made a kid fall over once doing that. Threw Mog just to get to a chest, but a kid walked in front of me. He fell down and screamed and I thought I killed him o.o
I just started farming the 4 NMs in Archylte Steppe for mats to upgrade weapons, i just got a weapon from Ochu and a weapon from Immortal, anyone know if any other NMS drop weapons that are needed for upgrades at the choco chic shop?

It should be listed under their Bestiary drops what they drop. I know that Yomi drops the gem you need to make ultimate weapons and to upgrade Hermes' Sandals so it's Auto-Haste; so gonna need 6 gems at least.

There are certain weapons that you need to use for upgrades, i havent seen any details of where they drop, hence why i was surprised when Ochu and Immortal dropped 1 each. I know the bestiary list their drops but you need to actually kill something to find that out. hence my question about others.
After years of build-up and waiting, Final Fantasy XIII was released to so-so reviews. The game was a disappointment. But, if at first you don't succeed, try again.
Regardless of fan bickering or indifference, the game was a monster hit for Square Enix, moving over six million copies.
The game's developer, Square Enix, is working on Final Fantasy XIII-2, a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII.
The number of Final Fantasy games can be confusing for non-fans. Each of the games do not follow sequential order, so when Square Enix wants to do a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, the game does not end up being Final Fantasy XIV (which is a totally different, already released game), but Final Fantasy XIII-2.
There is a precedent for this as Square Enix released a sequel to Final Fantasy X in 2003 called Final Fantasy X-2. The sequel followed the exploits of Final Fantasy X heroine Yuna, and Final Fantasy XIII is expected to do the same.
Square Enix has only unveiled the game's logo, which showed Final Fantasy XIII heroine Lightning as well as a new, unnamed character. It is thought that this character is Lightning's rival.
Unlike Final Fantasy XIII, which caused controversy by originally only being slated for the PS3, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is penciled in for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360, right off the bat. The game won't have the wait that Final Fantasy XIII did. According to Square Enix, it will be released in 2011.
So... yeah... Wasn't a huge fan of XIII maybe they'll do this better? lol.
