u can re-open ur gate if u dont have access to New Bodhum AF700. You dont have to do anything special, just go there and look around for 2 fragments, might have to use kupo.
Nah, I was planning on doing the two fights as Serah and Noel before I reached Bodum. Kill 3 birds with 1 stone.
I say just re-open the gate, serah's fight is right at the start of going for that fragment anyways.
Yeah. They're not as easy as I thought. Every job at 99 and I'm still getting killed too fast. A Dying World before you kill the boss is so depressing looking. Lol.
You pretty much just gotta wait it out in defender for a bit since he only goes after sera, after that you get like, 2 free rounds. High lvl red choco's pretty nice too since he'll eat the brave/haste off him, saves having to dispel him.

Thanks, I'll have to get a red. I love my gold, though. He's so awesome. Lol.
Quest your fragments and do side-quests. You get so much CP from those. You'll eventually get a 2x CP Fragment Skill, too. Farm monster growth materials, too. You'll have more CP than you know what to do with it.
all i know is last night i went afk in ffxiii-2 (lol afk) and switched tv to ffxi. surround sound was still playing ffxiii-2 (two diff ps3s) and it was epic for me... i was in the area..called..Yasacha Massif. idk it was awesome xD but i dont mind the singing.
but for me chrono cross still has the best OSD for me =/
And I'm sure I can beat you know who with them alone. I'll have to rethink my strats and level my chocobos a little more.
Lord Voldemort?
What do you guys think of the songs having lyrics in them? I personally miss the all classical songs :(
I personally like it. It adds to the suspense. And I'm a choir boy. Lol. I love music. I absolutely loved Barthandlus' theme and the Orphan battle theme.

I like Limit break (took awhile) and instantly liked New Bodhum ~Aggressive Mix.
Other than those the rest were not bad.
I'm not very far into the game, but my favorite track is the one where you are running from spotlight to spotlight and the behemoths attack you. I can't find it on the OST yet, but I'm still looking.
EDIT: Ugh played like 20 songs and still couldn't find it. So if anyone knows the name that would be awesome.
Also did anyone kill a behemoth right when you got there?
I did and I spent like 7 phoenix downs and all I got was a behemoth fang key item. Which I assume is for some mission later on. But it was a fun fight.

I have to admit I like "Worlds Collide" song during boss fights. Though that one song that sounds like it's from out of Devil May Cry kinda threw my for a loop...
I don't know if any of you have tried yet, but leveling Odin is a ***. I'm sticking through though, since he's allegedly the best Com in the game. I heard Omega is very, very bad. Especially compared to the Genji Bow. I still use the Genji Bow (upgraded one). That haste is ridiculously awesome.
Yeah, they said Odin is a nice COM but he's stupid expensive. I like using the Odin weapons with as many fragments I have until I upgrade to their ultimate.
I got him to 83 so far. I went from about 350 Att to 540 Att in 4 levels. Early Bloomer is kicking in. I refuse to fight Caius until I have Odin by my side at 99. I'm gonna be OP as ***, as I already am, but it must be done. Odin has always been my favorite summon of FF.

Omega can be pretty pimped out if you get all the ATB draining/recovery stuff apparently. Haven't really messed with super maxing out though since there's nothing to kill that actually requires being that pimped out, lol. Also just don't really like using odin or cichu since neither of them can be redone.

well as far as kichu goes, just get ur crystals right and u can pretty much fix up the traits and moves how u please.
here is a nice little guide i found, shows easiest way to get the good traits as well as lists them, the passive ones and the class specific ones that you want. very useful.
After years of build-up and waiting, Final Fantasy XIII was released to so-so reviews. The game was a disappointment. But, if at first you don't succeed, try again.
Regardless of fan bickering or indifference, the game was a monster hit for Square Enix, moving over six million copies.
The game's developer, Square Enix, is working on Final Fantasy XIII-2, a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII.
The number of Final Fantasy games can be confusing for non-fans. Each of the games do not follow sequential order, so when Square Enix wants to do a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, the game does not end up being Final Fantasy XIV (which is a totally different, already released game), but Final Fantasy XIII-2.
There is a precedent for this as Square Enix released a sequel to Final Fantasy X in 2003 called Final Fantasy X-2. The sequel followed the exploits of Final Fantasy X heroine Yuna, and Final Fantasy XIII is expected to do the same.
Square Enix has only unveiled the game's logo, which showed Final Fantasy XIII heroine Lightning as well as a new, unnamed character. It is thought that this character is Lightning's rival.
Unlike Final Fantasy XIII, which caused controversy by originally only being slated for the PS3, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is penciled in for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360, right off the bat. The game won't have the wait that Final Fantasy XIII did. According to Square Enix, it will be released in 2011.
So... yeah... Wasn't a huge fan of XIII maybe they'll do this better? lol.
