We had badges since about 6th grade.
yeah where i live there is alot of gang issues and rivalry between schools. but mostly lots of gang stuff

but its funny when i went to San Francisco, someone asked me where i was from and i told them.. and they backed up >_> lol
Ours was because we had non students coming into our schools, and freshman/sophomores going off campus for lunch. But the teachers are dumb and don't block the side doors lol.

Ohhh, at my old High School we had people in little orange jackets who blocked the gates and checked IDs when Seniors or other people wanted to get off campus for lunch. They weren't very good at their job because I was able to sneak out a few times during school. We were considered one of the most miserable cities because of unemployment
