Just wondering if these are reasonable sets for "easily-obtainable" equipment for a WAR. I understand there are better choices out there, such as peacock charm and such, but given my playtime and resources, I'm just checking with y'all to see if I'm planning this reasonably enough.
WAR55 - TP WAR55 - WS WAR63 - TP WAR63 - WS Don't assume I'm trolling or anything, but you could get past 60+ on a lot worse than that.

It's important to know what weapons yo plan onusing though, axes or Great axes. If you're going with great axes i'd suggest you go get a schwarz axt. I'm going for Amemet > Amemet +1 as it's only a few numbers :P, and I'm getting Raja's once I'm finished with CoP (OR SATTVA'S ;D). I would recommend spiked finger gauntlets on weapon skills, but they're kind of 400k or so still on Ragnarok, so, just use fourth division gauntlets full time (even at 63). That aside, I'd sell the sun rings in favor of your current accuracy rings even on weapon skills, which'll save you inventory room for the moment as well as return some gil to your pocket; could even go as far as to sell potent belt and keep on using life belt if you really wanted to, though virtuoso belt's a pretty easy camp these days too. You've got the general idea aside from that, really. Edit: Fighter's Calligae are fine until haste feet (dusk/aurum/empyrean). People gettin' mad about L60 equipment, oh lord.
You're passable; the only suggestions I have are to spring for an Amemet +1 and ditch the Pallas bracelets on Raging Rush - keep your Fourths on if you need accuracy, otherwise uh I guess RSE, I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

I would focus on a dex build (ws wise) for war on those levels. You will fight birds (polearm war) and dex help accuracy and is a modifier for penta trust.
Edit: Btw Imps (the next camps you will go) are weak to piercing too, so if you wanna old school your war, stick to polearm till 75. While WAR does get decent polearm skill, they are still inferior to DRG (And I think SAM?), and Penta cannot crit. The Dex mod on Penta is like 20%(?) Which is pretty damn low. Dex is decent for Raging Rush if/when you get that, with a 30% mod if memory serves, and CAN crit. Buy a amemet+1... They are so dirt cheap now there is really no excuse.

at lv 55 dual wield axes and use rampage until you get raging rush, then switch to great axe
the +10accuracy axes are what level 48-49? dont ws in strength rings unless you can afford the accuracy loss. if your rampage or raging rush numbers are not so hot you might need more accuracy in your ws set. you can sub drg, sam or nin also, some Luisant gear is still good for your level unless it is still expensive Merman's Gorget, Spectacles Accura Cape is lv 51 and gives you +3accu the +1 gives you 4accu |
