ah well, another update, the one where i want to bite my *** ><

i asked a friend if he could help me with the fans. before we started working i intensively cleaned all the fans, removing the dust etc. then i tried what happens now if i go to a populated ward (usually 85+ degrees) and guess what... not above 50 degrees no matter how hard i try to make it heat up more...

remember kids: keep your fans clean! >.>

oh *** you lol.

at the start of the thread people said its a heat issue and no one ever mentions a "good" temperature

later on a few people say 50 is normal

now you show up and say 25 is kinda high....

50 is normal, end of story

well my computer is a high end one meant to be kept on constantly and it has several fans i believe. not exactly sure it was custom made for a gift. the fan in my comp speed up if temp gets a little high and slows down when its cool

This is just a dumb queston but one that is often overlooked: do you have your fans facing the correct directions to create optimal airflow/cooling?

50 is probably a decent temp, although if you can get it lower, no problem. Just your what was it 85? was way too *** high.

I have been getting this too! I'm glad it is not just my PC (bought a HP Elite for 850 and it runs great!) however, it was refurbished.

i7 860
HD Radeon 5570 1Gig
8Gig Ram
2.88 Mgz
Not sure about cooling

I'll turn settings down. Though its fine if I am just porched with my bazzarr up. Only happens when I'm running.

that's a lot of power for a notebook, you have a cooling pad/fan on it? if not get one.
