This is not really a joke but more or less a conversation of sorts. I was playing Mnk lv60 back and I had a Drk LS friend about lv42.
The Drk complained in the LS "I miss too much! The fight ended before I could even hit anything!"
A chorus of "Play Rng" or something similar popped up. Eager to educate this noob Drk, I chipped in "Stack DEX. Dex increases accuracy."
Like finding a rescue boat in the sea, the Drk grabbed on to it "What do you mean? Dex increase my accuracy? Shouldn't accuracy increase accuracy?"
"No! Dex increases your accuracy by 2! Every Dex is 2 times the accuracy!" Sounding like a true believer even though I was pretty noob myself at lv60-something.
So our hapless Drk blew all of his gil on Leaping Boots and HQ Dex rings and equipped himself like a glorious king. The result was... unknown. It's not like he had a parser or anything to know if his whiffing rate was any different because he only attacked like 5-6 times in a fight anyways.
It wasn't until sometime later when our blunt and not-so-bright LS leader checked the noob Drk and said "Why did you spend money on HQ Dex rings and Leaping Boots? Sniper rings are better! 2 Dex is only 1 accuracy"
If the Drk could take a hit at me at the time, I think he would have. Not like he could hit anything with his all Dex setup.
