Alright, here's the story.
Several months ago, I had returned to FFXI upon "quitting" for nearly a year. Upon my arrival I was disappointed to feel a sense of disconnect between myself and my original character. It was almost as if I had returned to a bought account, rather than my own. There was no longer any sense of belonging, fulfillment or sense of progress that I had made over so many years. Much like watching a movie you've never seen from the middle; and it bugged the hell out of me. Not to mention that many of my previous friends on Shiva are either no longer playing, or have their own busy agenda with their own linkshells.
So I have forged my resolve into starting over to regain my sense of fulfillment, fun and progress I had previously enjoyed so much in this game. This time I will be playing to smell the roses, and in a new place; namely Fenrir.
And I figure since I will be starting fresh, I may as well redeem the rewards available from doing so. So in short I am looking for someone from Fenrir that is willing to befriend an old player starting over again and would like to essentially share random misadventures and hook me up with a gold world pass so that we may redeem some nifty prizes, such as a timepiece and model airship furniture pieces.
