came out a week ago in states :P and 4 days ago in Europe
Damn didnt know that thought it came out later. Well then I must get it then. thanks for telling me i would have continued to think it was coming out later forever >.<
Didnt know Kuja was getting a DLC I know I want Aidanes for sure brings back good memories of FF9 Lagunas i just want to have so what does Kujas DLC look like?
Taking a break from the game except on my bonus days or maybe one with AP bonus.
I dislike the way we get Elixers now ._. Gotta catch back up in Phantasy Start Portable 2 and finishing Valkyria Chronicles 2. I actually want The 3rd Birthday since it looks fun, but I fear a lack of replay value.

Need to DL Ad hoc party on PSN with your PS3 then connect PSP to PS3 and go in ad hoc, pick a World/Room #/Go into online mode on DDFF. Natenn7152 is my PSN tag if you wanna add me.
That Feral Chaos fight was hell. I legit got him down to about 65k HP (has like 127k at the start) then Mega Flare spammed the rest of it (after about 10 attempts, lol.) Didn't have any Iai Strike stuff yet.
Major props to anyone who legit beats him the entire fight. Mofo is broken as hell.

i just spent 9 hours trying to fight him ... used cloud and got him down to about 40k hp... ended up only getting him to 25k lowest with the rest of my chars. decided to switch it up and use cloud last... and i couldnt even do the last 55k damage to him... definately seems like he gets harder as his HP drops
is it possible to make files of your friend card and send to someone? i really could use that now... gear is ok... but no good accessories or summons for me atm >_>
Just use onion knight and spam Comet where EX core appears, Cecil spamming the 1 air move that shoots light lazers followed by Paladin force works well to, and of course Mega Flare Yuna.
Yuna's Mega Flare is definitely the best in that fight. Firion's Weaponmaster and Lord of Arms does good work too. Onion Knight's Wind Shear will actually block most, if not all, of Chaos' attacks, but of course, just spamming with no rhyme or reason, won't get you far. You need tactical spamming (simply, knowing when to use the HP attack) the only person you can really, spam with no strategy, is Yuna, especially if you get him to the top of the stage. He's pretty much done.
If none of this works for you, and you start getting like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" just build a level 1 Iai Stike build. There's plenty of guides for this, so I'm not gonna get into that.
Overall, Feral Chaos may seem crazy strong at first, but his AI is his downfall, once you see his patterns, you can out-play him.
I haven't done the Feral Chaos fight yet, but wouldn't spamming Genesis Rock with Golbez do really well? I generally find huge success with that on that stage.

Actually, yes, I've heard that people have had success with that too, I don't use him, so, I never tried, but yeah.

sad cause i cleared all gateways in 000 :( Labrynth still sux
I loathe Labyrinth... felt like I've done SOOOOO much, check completion... 30% >_>;;
i beat feral chaos a few days ago using yunas megaflare only had a 65.9 multiplier. on the lai strike hits a megaflare does around 20k dmg (with sniper eye) 9999 for hit 9999 for wall rush (i was actually only getting like 9800 only cuz my multiplier wasnt 99.9)
Stumbled across a really good place to KP farm, not sure how good compared to other areas but, there is a place called the forsaken lands. so far on the 10th floor not sure how many there is but im assuming im almost done.
it has a bonus line of 100. go into the gateway with all chars lv1 with a lai strike build. u will get a default KP of 99. there are 2 silver moogle statues and a gold moogle statue. even assuming u dont get any of the KP chances (which is almost impossible to not due to the condition being break enemy within 60 with a lai build) you will walk out of the dungeon with at least 1200 KP each time.
Edit: Might be aggrivating at times due to all enemys being lv90-120+ and some being annoying to hit. I recommend cloud if you are good with him. for some reason the enemies seem to have trouble dodging clouds 2 midair bravery slashes that link to omnislash
Another Edit: The area has 10 floors confirmed. 274 KP with one character lv100 that i didnt even use
Currently testing method to see max KP i can earn from dungeon. if anyone cares the lai strike build for this dungeon is
Smiting Soul
HP=100%
Near Loss
Large Gap in BRV
Summon Unused
Pre-Ex Mode
Pre-Assist
Near Opponent
Level 1-9
Level Gap Equal or greater 80
99.9 multiplier. Of course anything will work as long as you get 99.9 or even somewhat near that
Edit: went through using above strategy and earned 1866 KP. Im sure 4000 is possible with certain chains and that double KP skill can even use 5 of them and get like 30k KP
Well i went online today...16 wins 46 losses :( idk how i can be so bad, most ppl use chars that can set up barriers then hide behind em, like kefka/Emporor/Exdeath/Golbez/Lightning. Really made me feel bad lol ._.
When i did win i got raged on and called a spammer by 1 guy, bc i kept dodging up with WoL and doing Bitter End. Or OSv5 - Tifa assist - OSv5. Isnt the point to attack relentlessly? Surely theres ways to avoid, i mean i fight other ppl who play like ghat and i can evade. Or am i the 1 wrong here?

#1 reason I hate playing online. Nobody actually fights, everyone just dodges. I got tired of having to chase people down just to have them dodge or grind away. >.> Eventually gave up a couple fights and just quit.

Do this for "The forsaken Lands" in 000 (bonus line lv100, 10 floors) with 5 KP bonus skills, Iai strike setup gaining the KP bonus on each fight (Break 60 seconds) and the 2 silver and 1 golden moogle statue throughout.
You will net something around the region of 56k KP more than you would ever need at once really, though it will likely sap the games longevity a little for some people should they use it.
Edit: Dungeon name, had the wrong one listed, thanks to Rellz for pointing that out to me.
anyone got a NA friend card they can give me that is a challenge but same time not impossible? only friend card i have is a rl friend who hacked all items... kinda annoyed me... can only take it down to like 110k/159k hp >.>
New Mechanics
The mechanics of the battle system include "EX Mode" and "Assist." EX Mode functions exactly the same as the first game by collecting EX Cores around the battle map to fill up the gauge and transform the character into a more powerful state, which allows players to perform a powerful EX Burst attack should an HP attack land during EX Mode. The Assist system is a new element to the game which allows the player to summon an additional ally into battle to either assist in attacking the enemy or defend from an oncoming attack. It is performed using the Assist Gauge, which is built up by using Bravery Attacks.
Both modes are supposed to balance each other, because when an EX Burst is executed, the opponent's Assist Gauge is reduced to zero.
The three main countering systems are Assist Breaks, EX Breaks and EX Revenge. An EX Break is performed by stopping an opponent's EX Mode through the use of an Assist attack which forces the opponent out of EX Mode, additionally passing the opponent's Bravery points to the player. An Assist Break is performed by attacking the opponent's Assist character, causing him/her to be unable to call out the Assist character for a brief period; this also passes the opponent's Bravery points to the character. Lastly, EX Revenge occurs when trying to activate EX Mode while being attacked. While in the first game it would simply halt the opponent's attack, it now slows down time allowing the player to pummel the opponent instead, though it sacrifices the player's ability to use an EX Burst as it uses up the entire EX Gauge.
The biggest change is within the single-player story mode of the game, taking place on a traditional-styled Final Fantasy world map, with players being able to experience a story while exploring a world with scenarios and events taking place as the story progresses. Players will traverse the 3D world map with three-character parties, with players being able to interact in conversations with the characters. When roaming the map, players will encounter enemies known as "Manikins"; when attacked by an enemy, players will be transported to a battle map where battles will take place. There will be shops on the map which are specially marked. The story mode is also party based, similar to the story progression of Final Fantasy VI. In certain scenarios, parties will be predetermined, but in most cases players are free to select their own party. Alongside the game's new story mode, the game will also include the first game's story which will be remade with the 3D world map as well as additional elements added for the new storyline. Tetsuya Nomura, producer and character designer for the game, has said that both storylines played together would result in approximately 60 hours of gameplay
