Because his role set Delita on his path of manipulation and murder and pretty much ruined any innocence Ramza had regarding how commoners were treated by nobles.
Also, Agrias was plenty powerful. SE just made females slightly physically weaker than males.
I agree she was plenty powerful when you get her, but come the last few chapters when I'm picking between Ramza, Orlandu, (psp) Balthier, Beowulf, ffta2 kid, etc. She tends to get squeezed out. Though with Tynar Rouge for auto-haste she comes in handy.
Mustadio was just an overall beast, and one of my favorite characters. Am I the only one who continued to use him even when you had all the powerhouse characters?
Someone from Chaos somehow persuaded him that he should fight for them and since Jecht is on Cosmos's side, Tidus has all the more reason to fight with Chaos. Like a teen joining a rebel army or some ***. Eventually, Jecht wanted Tidus to fight for the good side. The only way he could do this is by joining Chaos knowing that Tidus would join the opposite side just to fight his old man, thus why Jecht is Chaos in the first Dissidia. It's painfully obvious Jecht doesn't care for Chaos.
They gave Agrias some upgrades in the PSP version to make her stronger. Also Algus reappears later on as a ghost or something.
I hate Algus. Such a ***.
I'd love to see FFT characters in Dissidia as well.
have you played the PS1 version!!
I don't like how they speak British on psp version
Yes, I love the PS1 version. I like it more than psp honestly.
I loved the PS1 version, but I also liked some of the things added with the PSP version. The dialect didn't seem really necessary, but it didn't hurt anything really. I loved the animated CS, and Dark Knight was something I also greatly enjoyed.
I usually reserve Dark Knight for use by Ramza (and Mustadio), just to give him that unique feel, as opposed to him just being a buffed up Squire. Mostly a personal thing but I enjoy the idea of the hero being a Dark Knight, as opposed to his friend (the anti-hero?) rising through the ranks as a Holy Knight.
I never thought about that theory of prequel vs sequel. Terra was controlled by the empire, Tidus had a hate for his father and drove him to think evil, and Cloud....perhaps his personality was cold or something? As for Jecht being good, there was a time he was, so it sort of makes sense to me, that this is a prequel. Then again I just do not know. All I know is I look forward to this game.

The first two you said is right, as for cloud, if you remember FF7, sephiroth was about to manipulate him so it makes sense.

That is very true. I tend to forgot that. Perhaps Cloud is bringing Sephiroth the black materia, so in this game he is searching for him, to give the materia. Also that explains Aerith being alive still as an assist.
Another thing I really liked what they did was just giving us one health bar, rather than all the crystals at the bottom representing 1k HP. Easier to know if the opponent is about to die, instead of doing 5k and realizing that the mofo still has 3 crystals of HP left.

It'll reveal Chaos and Cosmos are aspects of Altana and Promathia and that FFXI's Gilgamesh is the original.
He *** around and gets stuck in the weird FF multiverse they're trying to establish, transforming him into the multi-armed goofball we all know and love today after years and years of dimension hopping torment. Alleyway Jack himself is a split persona Gilgamesh left behind before departing from FF9's world to FF5's. Alleyway Jack, of course, was the original pirate's younger, more wild personality (jumping the Rift can lead to some pretty *** up ***)
Countless years after Vana'diel's natural end of all sentient life leads the spiritual remnants to manifest themselves as job classes stored within the protocrystals which would later find their way to other FF worlds under a slightly different guise, explaining their bizarre hand-waved appearance in FF3/FF5 (Warriors of Light, my ***).
Oh, and Garland was always in possession of a Dark Crystal. The Dark Crystal being Odin's protocrystal from FFXI.
New Mechanics
The mechanics of the battle system include "EX Mode" and "Assist." EX Mode functions exactly the same as the first game by collecting EX Cores around the battle map to fill up the gauge and transform the character into a more powerful state, which allows players to perform a powerful EX Burst attack should an HP attack land during EX Mode. The Assist system is a new element to the game which allows the player to summon an additional ally into battle to either assist in attacking the enemy or defend from an oncoming attack. It is performed using the Assist Gauge, which is built up by using Bravery Attacks.
Both modes are supposed to balance each other, because when an EX Burst is executed, the opponent's Assist Gauge is reduced to zero.
The three main countering systems are Assist Breaks, EX Breaks and EX Revenge. An EX Break is performed by stopping an opponent's EX Mode through the use of an Assist attack which forces the opponent out of EX Mode, additionally passing the opponent's Bravery points to the player. An Assist Break is performed by attacking the opponent's Assist character, causing him/her to be unable to call out the Assist character for a brief period; this also passes the opponent's Bravery points to the character. Lastly, EX Revenge occurs when trying to activate EX Mode while being attacked. While in the first game it would simply halt the opponent's attack, it now slows down time allowing the player to pummel the opponent instead, though it sacrifices the player's ability to use an EX Burst as it uses up the entire EX Gauge.
The biggest change is within the single-player story mode of the game, taking place on a traditional-styled Final Fantasy world map, with players being able to experience a story while exploring a world with scenarios and events taking place as the story progresses. Players will traverse the 3D world map with three-character parties, with players being able to interact in conversations with the characters. When roaming the map, players will encounter enemies known as "Manikins"; when attacked by an enemy, players will be transported to a battle map where battles will take place. There will be shops on the map which are specially marked. The story mode is also party based, similar to the story progression of Final Fantasy VI. In certain scenarios, parties will be predetermined, but in most cases players are free to select their own party. Alongside the game's new story mode, the game will also include the first game's story which will be remade with the 3D world map as well as additional elements added for the new storyline. Tetsuya Nomura, producer and character designer for the game, has said that both storylines played together would result in approximately 60 hours of gameplay
