IF you send me your luas that fail I can look at them. Odds are pretty good if you can figure out the code that it doesn't like you can just wrap it as described here. Not sure if windower team has grabbed the last couple pull requests yet though. (should also work out of the box with selindrile's luas too)

Its just trying to load the sets table space so most of the actual gearswap logic can probably be wrapped in that block.

Virtually every multiple in this game uses /1024, likely cause that is what the original devs knew from coding in quasi ASM for older consoles like the PS2.

For what it's worth you were damn good at it and left a lasting impact on some of us. You still get brought up sometimes when Mel and I reminisce about our old FFXI days.

I use the "Player Look" tool in Xim to find equipment dats. For example, the Ethereal Dagger is model 929. The tool shows that this maps to ROM/378/42.DAT for Elvaan M (race can be changed in the "Player" tab).

Ight guys, I managed to get a 3%+ pdl DRK JSE neck super easy and so I did the 2nd test I suggested. Conclusion : pdl%+ is most likely an out of x/1024 value and is applied after the pdl+ trait. See below tests using DRK/NIN and a Phulax bow with various arrows on rabbits in Ronfaure.

Now we just need to figure out the exact prime values at each fTP tier.

I did see that and thought it was weird. I have been able to watch the original full seasons on Hulu, but because its bundled with Disney maybe they removed some.

While also those free sites and such are nice to watch them, its not really convenient on a TV. I know toei uploaded the entire 50 episodes of the first season onto youtube but idk if its still there.



Yeah, I led an LS for almost a decade. While I enjoyed my time and met so many cool people, I will never lead again in a video game. It is not worth it at all, all the stress and ***you take for doing something for free on a video game you're suppose to be enjoying. I found it much easier to run smaller statics and I continued to do that until my RL work overtook everything and I had no time to commit to any group.

It must be 10x harder now that the game is a lot more laid back and everyone is doing adult stuff and has less free time. Especially during the time where SE did another one of their "No more updates, games good" and people saw no future for the game, a lot quit during that time. Nowdays maybe its easier because everyone and their grandma has a mule to substitute when someone quits but I'm sure its still a hassle.

It's less delay than a kraken club and with stat bloat and master levels/buffs, you can still hit requisite accuracy levels as an offhand. Underestimated for sure, I used to use one years ago as an alternative to ridill. Very fast for self SC or offhanding for 1h Trials

I just went out and tested this, since I bought Arke Corazza for lockstyle earlier. It does exactly what the description says: it converts the damage you receive into TP. In layman's terms, "12% of the damage you receive is converted to TP (rounded down), and then added to your base TP value". This is additive with STP (which affects the amount of TP you get per being hit).

As an example, if you take 1000 damage with Arke body equipped, you would gain 120 TP exclusively from the body alone, in addition to whatever STP you have equipped at the time you get hit, plus your base value of TP Received. So at minimum 141 TP.

Test:
IMO it's kinda worse as a stat than simply adding STP, because you need to take lots of damage to benefit from it. The Arke set does have -DT, so you can take the hits. The Ratri Breastplate is DT+14%, but for DRK, that's kind of okay since they have high HP pool and are a high-risk, high-reward job (see Scarlet Delirium). The Regal Gloves are similar to Ratri Breastplate too. So if you know you're getting healed and can afford to take additional damage and are idling against something (Aminon, for example), throw the pieces on.

Anyway you can config this to do a reverse scan like the old closet cleanup lua did? That addon fails with more recent gearswap lua's or when you try to do more than a few jobs at a time.

IE load all your lua's and scan them and tell you what items are in your wardrobes/selected storage bags that are not listed anywhere in your LUA.

Obviously I can do it manually, but after about 15 jobs and multiple characters its really tedious.

Will say, leading a group for so long is a testament to your ability as a leader. And it shows with how many people want to join that group.

I know how hard it is to keep everyone on the same page with groups like that, and how few people want to lead and be the "bad guy" at necessary times.

Managing a group over 2.5 years and seeing people leave, join, leave.... even having people that left sometimes a year prior rejoin...

it's been really difficult. When you're doing a daily activity 7 days a week you build a camaraderie. People's job situation changing, or getting burnt out, has felt like losing a friend at times.

I'm gonna be sad whenever my Sortie group eventually has to move on from Sortie for whatever reason.

I don't think it'll be any time soon, but I've got good buddies in it now, and it's succeeded in pulling my brother out of his Loner mode kinda-sorta.

But I really have to bare down hard, and get some sorta work sooner or later. Schedules may change for myself or other members, I mean heck, one of them is a DOCTOR!

But they're all such cool dudes. We're regularly killing Hardmode Aminon now, basically every other day. Set to finish multiple Stage 5s whenever he coughs up that 4th Meso.

I guess I'll just have to enjoy it while it lasts, as much as I can. Dang ole mortal conundrum, human condition, I tell you h'wut!
