This week is so weiiiiiird.

Finished dancer to 99 and trying out dyna, procs are better than magic but its still not worth it. White procs are more mythical than the mythic weapons.

I'll look into that, if this bot ever finishes leveling.

True, but I still didn't feel like they were very active. It was mostly just absorbs and do or don't debuffs? Or am I remembering wrong?

I like how active FFXIV is but at the same time it's hard to just kind of lazily do stuff which makes it a bummer.

The last time I saw Alphinaud, he was marooned in the desert after his airship went down. I just imagine he died from dehydration and leave it at that. That said, at least he tried to contribute, Minfilia was one of the most useless characters in any FF.

He gets better. Early Alphi is an annoying twit. HW Alphi gets a new voice actor and is marginally less annoying. By the time SB rolls around he's fine.


Delve bosses had mechanics. I still prefer XI's combat system overall, and will always be a little bummed that XIV didn't stick closer to the XI formula.

I like the story and love high end raiding. Mechanics like that really make me enjoy the game.

That's the one problem I had with FFXI, there weren't mechanics that had to be actively kept track of/done like that. Closest they got was adds and AV's locking system.

But both still suffer from not having a proper raid environment with puzzles/adds etc. FFXI was better in that regard because Dynamis, Einherjar and Salvage actually did really well mixing in adds that made things spicy. But FFXIV brings out complicated mechanics. If they could just like... combine the 2, I'd be happy.

I miss having sub jobs...and also subbing /whm for the Reraise.

Heck I miss Reraise in FFXIV.

Unless things changed and you can get more than 100 Alex a run it'd probably be about the same profit margin.

When I go in there sam/dnc I can get about 150 singles, but its just boring, and that only translates to 300k. Getting one hundo would boost it to 500k, which is still not really that great for 2 hours of boredom. It translates to 7-9 HMP, if I get a hundo.

Steps to Success:
1) Farm Currency
2) Make a Ghorn
3) ???
4) *** out your bard.

I don't think anything has changed tbh. Its the exact same as I remember in 2012. I don't really think its worth it, farming alex would probably be more beneficial.

Dancer was pretty good. Lots of utility, was a good tank and a great DD. Like Mosin said it was suuuuuper underutilized.

Back in the day I remember it not being worth it because white procs were so ***.

But that was back in the before times...

Havent been using TH at all in Bubu, just procs. And no, dancer is not awesome.

Dancer is pretty awesome really, just underutilized. you'll need some form of TH, but it could work.

Messing around with dancer to see if farming dyna with no subjob is worth my time. Actually I'm just botting it, dancer is a stupid job.
